James Harden has sensationally branded Daryl Morey, the 76ers’ president of basketball operations, a “liar” and vowed never to work for the same organization as him again as the guard’s attempt to leave Philadelphia continues.

Harden, a 10-time All-Star, is eyeing a move to the Clippers this offseason after just 18 months with the Sixers.

However, it emerged last week that the team had ended trade talks with Harden after failing to strike a deal with the Clippers.

Instead, they planned to return him to training camp before the start of the new season.

On Monday, however, Harden hit back with some notable remarks at basketball camp.

James Harden has called 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey a “liar.”

“Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be part of any organization he is part of,” he said.

“Let me say that again: Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be part of any organization that he is a part of.”

Harden and Morey have a long-standing working relationship, but it now seems irretrievably broken.

Morey brought him to the Houston Rockets in 2012 before they reunited in Philadelphia.

Harden’s arrival with the 76ers in 2022 coincided with Ben Simmons’ departure to Brooklyn after becoming embroiled in his own trade standoff with the Sixers.
