James Corden tries to keep a low profile in London as he’s seen for the first time since confronting a British Airways employee
James Corden enjoyed a walk in sunny London on Sunday, where he was spotted for the first time since the confrontation with a British Airways worker in Lisbon.
The Gavin and Stacey The 45-year-old star tried to keep a low profile with dark sunglasses while dressed in a brown and white patterned shirt.
James completed the ensemble with jeans and sneakers as he was spotted grabbing breakfast and coffee at Joe & The Juice during the outing.
It comes after James expressed his frustration with airport staff on Sunday, but onlookers insist the temperamental TV presenter only spoke out after enduring a nightmarish flight.
He was flanked by fellow passengers after landing in Lisbon, where he was seen confronting a British Airways employee during a turbulent journey to the UK from Faro in southeastern Portugal.

It comes after James expressed his frustration with airport staff on Sunday, but onlookers insist the temperamental TV presenter only spoke out after enduring a nightmarish flight.
But those on the flight claim he spoke for them all after the plane had to make an emergency stop in the Portuguese city due to a technical fault.
It is understood the plane struggled to gain altitude once it left the Algarve and circled for 45 minutes, never gaining altitude before announcing an emergency landing.
Vanessa, who was on the same flight with her mother and husband, told the story Subway about the mid-flight ordeal: “It was something along the lines of, ‘Gather your belongings as best you can, take off your shoes, and if the flight crew tells you to, please assume the brace position and if we If you are able to land, find the nearest emergency exit and exit the aircraft.
“What actually happened was that the flaps on the plane wing, which are supposed to go down when you’re in the air, didn’t go down, which meant they couldn’t put them up on landing.”
Passengers were eventually told they no longer had to take the bracket position, but spent three hours on the tarmac in Lisbon before the plane was finally withdrawn from service.
And Vanessa claims Corden – who once fell out with a New York restaurateur over his alleged treatment of wait staff – entertained passengers by posing for selfies as they returned to Britain.
“He would walk down the aisles and talk to people and let everyone take a selfie with him,” she said.
“I was joking and said, ‘Oh, if we all die. Can you tell us how Gavin & Stacey’s Christmas special ends? and he said, “Do you really want to know?” and I said, “Yes.” He said, “I can’t tell you.”

‘Then he said, ‘but do you want to know what happened on the fishing trip?’ and I thought, “Yes! I do!” and he said, “I can’t tell you that either.”
Vanessa confirmed that the presenter confronted a staff member after passengers left the plane in Lisbon, but only because they were directed into the wrong queue.
“So then BA finally let us off the plane,” she recalled. ‘We got to the terminal and there were no BA staff in sight. And they put us in immigration queues. And there was just no one to tell us what was going on.”
“The people he’s talking to in that photo are the flight crew on our plane. I saw him bump into the pilot with his fist as he got off the plane. He said, ‘Thank you very much.’
According to Vanessa, the presenter was annoyed that passengers had been led to the wrong row, including families with young children.
She said: ‘James was a club flyer and he stood there and said, “What about all these people who have all these kids with them?” as if you’re saying that’s not acceptable. It’s not right.’
Passengers were eventually given a flight to London at 9:30 the next morning, and Corden was “in the same line as everyone else, doing the same things as everyone else.”
Corden has previously clashed with several public figures, including Spice Girl Mel B – who branded him ‘the biggest asshole’ she has ever met.
She named her least favorite celebrities on a 2022 episode of The Big Narstie Show, saying: “So there are a few. James Corden, Geri Halliwell, Jessie J and I!’

Ricky Gervais was also critical of Corden after the host used one of his 2018 stand-up jokes during a late Late Show monologue.
Gervais tweeted a clip from Corden’s show in which the host jokes about Twitter users getting angry about a poster in a town square about guitar lessons.
But Corden’s joke directly repeats Gervais’ joke from his 2018 Netflix stand-up comedy gig Ricky Gervais: Humanity.
Gervais retweeted a clip of Corden repeating his joke, saying in a now-deleted tweet: “The bit about the town square ad for guitar lessons is brilliant.”
The comedian said he deleted the original tweet because he “felt sorry for Corden.”
In 2022, Corden was branded a ‘little idiot of a man’ and banned by the irate owner of New York’s iconic Balthazar restaurant – who claimed he was the ‘most abusive customer ever’.
Fiery restaurateur Keith McNally banned the former Late Late Show host from his restaurants over his treatment of staff.
Corden admitted he was “unkind” to a Balthazar waiter when he made a snide remark about cooking the egg yolk omelet himself – which got him banned from the establishment.
Corden says he believes the media has simply exaggerated the story (Corden and Julia Carey seen having lunch at Scott’s restaurant in Mayfair on June 27, 2018 in London, England)
Corden later publicly apologized but denied the restaurant’s version of events, insisting he wasn’t “yelling like crazy” and claiming for the first time that the reason he was so upset is because his wife was getting food that she has ‘severe allergies’. Unpleasant.
The presenter, appearing on his Late Late Show, admitted he had been ‘unfriendly’ to Balthazar’s waiting staff but tried to explain again.
McNally announced on Instagram that Corden was banned from the restaurant twice as punishment for rude and childish behavior.
On the first occasion, Corden was angry that a hair had been found in his food and demanded free drinks to make up for it, McNally said.
On the second occasion, his wife Julia ordered an omelette with egg yolk and received a plate with egg whites on it. The final straw was when the remade omelet was sent with a side of home fries instead of salad.
“James Corden started yelling like crazy at the server,” McNally said, quoting the general manager’s service report.
But Corden insisted he did not shout or make “derogatory comments.” His only offense was making the ‘unnecessary’ and ‘snide’ comment that he would ‘make the omelette himself’ if the kitchen staff were unable to do so.
My wife explained that she has a severe food allergy.
“The meals came, my wife got the food she was allergic to. She didn’t take a bite or anything, don’t worry, we sent it back. Everything was good.
‘When her meal was delivered incorrectly for the third time, in the heat of the moment I made a sarcastic, rude comment about cooking it herself. It is a comment that I deeply regret.
‘I worked in restaurants for years, I have so much respect for everyone who does that job.
‘The restaurant manager and the waiter were nice, they brought four glasses of champagne and we said: “That’s not necessary, we don’t need it, we had a great time”.
But here’s the truth: Because I didn’t yell or scream, I didn’t get out of my seat, I didn’t swear at anyone or use derogatory language, I walked around thinking I didn’t do anything wrong.
“But I did, I made a rude comment.”
