“Look, it’s by no means easy to walk away from something that’s so…I mean I’ll never work in a better environment than the one I work in now,” Corden began.
‘Nothing about leaving the program had to do with not enjoying it. I love it, but the truth is that it became a very easy decision because I always knew it was an adventure and I never considered it the final destination, ”she added.
Corden recalled a story from two summers ago when she was filming her Amazon Prime Video series Mammals, which debuted in November, which featured an interaction with her then-10-year-old son Max.

Story: Corden recalled a story from two summers ago when she was filming her Amazon Prime Video series Mammals, which debuted in November, that featured an interaction with her 10-year-old son, Max.
“I was filming on a Sunday and I came downstairs, it was around six in the morning and my son, who was ten at the time, was sitting on the stairs and he said to me, ‘Are you working today?’ and I said, ‘I am. I am,” and he said, “I was like, well, it’s Sunday,” and I said, “I know, dude, but this schedule is all over the place.” We just have to finish it because we only have a small amount of time before we have to come back and do the show,” and his face just fell off,” Corden said.
I got in the car and called my wife Jules and said, “I’ve realized, at best, we’ve got six more summers where Max is like, he even remotely wants to be around us and I can’t waste another one.” . Corden explained.
“So really the choice was to say, ‘Well, if I really want to do this other job, that can’t be at the expense of our kids, our family,’ and that’s really all it’s about,” Corden added.
