James Corden was pictured cuddling a close friend outside The Londoner Hotel on Saturday night.
The talk show host, 44, dressed up in casual attire with an animated jacket as he headed out for a night in London.
He made a trendy display in blue jeans and a blue jacket that he paired with white sneakers.
The comedian retired from the Late Late Show and left Hollywood in April before returning to the UK with his TV producer wife Julia Carey, 47, and their three children.
James seemed to be in good spirits as he hit the streets of London for a night out.

James and Julia are said to be house hunting in Hampstead, North London.
The star recently sold his lavish estate in Brentwood for $17.1 million (£13.6 million), according to reports The messenger.
According to reports, it hit the public market in February for $22m (£17.5m) after James and his Julia made it available to qualified buyers in October 2022.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, originally purchased the New England-style property in 2017 for $9.7 million (£8.1 million).
Despite leaving LA, James denied American radio host Ally Johnson’s claims that he acted in a diva-like manner while attending a concert in Los Angeles last month.
Ally, who was at the Irish singer Hozier’s concert, told listeners of the Klein/Ally show, “I saw firsthand how James Corden was a bit of a diva.”
According to Ally, the former Late Late Show host seemed “exasperated and annoyed” by the lack of a personal escort to take him to his seat for a performance by the Take Me To Church singer at the Troubadour nightclub in West Hollywood.
However, Ally, who clearly isn’t a fan of Corden given that she admitted on air that she “trash talks” to him all the time, seemed a little less convinced of her story when I reached out to her.
She admitted, “It’s not like he threw a tantrum or anything, but it just rubbed me the wrong way.”
A Corden spokesperson shed some light on the matter, saying, “This is 100 percent not true. James had a great time.’
