James Comer slams ‘skinny ass’ Democrat Jamie Raskin for ‘sucking government dick’ and targeting Ivanka Trump’s husband Jared Kushner
There is no love lost between Republican Oversight Chairman James Comer and his Democratic counterpart, Ranking Member Jamie Raskin.
The hyperpartisan Oversight Committee hearings have descended into chaos this Congress, as Republicans have launched an all-out war against Hunter Biden and tried to find a link between his shady business dealings with President Biden.
After months of focusing on the Biden family and a looming threat of impeachment, Raskin and his gang of Biden-defending Democrats began plotting revenge: They demanded that Comer hold a confirmation hearing on former President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
In an interview with DailyMail.com, Comer slammed Raskin for being “ignorant” of how the private sector works.

“Raskin has sucked on the government teat his whole life,” the Kentucky Republican said in an interview with DailyMail.com. “His wife works for the government. He’s always worked for it, and his father worked for the government.”
Comer continued, “He doesn’t know what the private sector is. So you know he can, I think, play the ignorant card. But at the end of the day, the Bidens don’t own a business. And I don’t think anyone in America would consider selling access to our adversaries around the world a legitimate business.”
“Raskin wouldn’t understand a legitimate private company if it came back to bite him in the ass.”
“Raskin has sucked the government’s teat his entire life,” the Kentucky Republican said in an interview with DailyMail.com. ‘His wife works for the government. He always worked for it and his father worked for the government.’
Raskin’s father, Marcus, served on President John F. Kennedy’s National Security Council. His wife, Sarah Bloom Raskin, was deputy secretary of the Treasury Department and served on the Federal Reserve Board under President Barack Obama.
“This shockingly intemperate and juvenile personal attack is filled with lies and distortions,” Raskin told DailyMail.com of Comer’s verbal attack.
“Comer has been receiving a government salary for his own eloquent and famously effective public service for longer than I have,” he added ironically.
Raskin was first elected to the Maryland State Senate in 2007, and Comer served as a Kentucky state representative since 2001. Comer was also involved in agriculture and ranching, while Raskin was a law professor before coming to Congress. He briefly served as assistant attorney general of Massachusetts.
Hunter Biden was involved in a number of legal and consulting firms and made business deals with people around the world. Republicans have been investigating how he used his last name in such deals.
Kushner, originally a real estate investor, managed to secure a $2 billion deal with the Saudis shortly after Trump left office. Trump also received orders from foreign parties staying on his property.
The Trump family’s business deals are expected to be a major focus if Democrats retake the House of Representatives in November.
Comer appears to have cooled on the idea he had last year to have his committee also handle Kushner’s cases.
“We’re going to have some questions, for Trump and some of his family members, including Jared Kushner,” he previously told CNN. “We want to know exactly what the terms were of that loan ($2 billion Saudi Arabia) to Kushner.”

“We are writing to urge you to convene a hearing into Jared Kushner’s apparent influence peddling and his quid pro quo deals involving investments in exchange for official actions. We also wish to investigate the resulting threats to our national security,” Raskin and Rep. Robert Garcia (D-California) wrote in a letter to Comer this spring.
In March, the New York Times reported that Kushner was closing in on lucrative real estate deals in Albania and Serbia.
The Balkan plans benefit from relationships Kushner built during the Trump administration: they are being crafted with Ric Grenell, who served under Trump as acting director of national intelligence and as ambassador to Germany and special envoy for the Balkans.
Kushner’s firm has already faced criticism from Democrats for its $2 billion in funding from the Saudi Public Investment Fund. A New York Times report claimed that Saudis on the panel had raised concerns about Kushner’s lack of experience in private equity.
Kushner was deeply involved in Trump’s Middle East policy during his presidency and benefited from the relationships he developed during that time to broker the deals, including a close relationship with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia.
Kushner helped Saudi Arabia secure a $110 billion arms deal and was one of the staunchest defenders of Saudi Arabia’s royal family within the government amid international outrage over the killing of the U.S. resident journalist and MBS critic Jamal Khashoggi.
