James Bond star Pierce Brosnan goes back to his spy roots as he cuts a dapper figure while filming his latest thriller Black Bag
Pierce Brosnan has returned to his James Bond roots as he was seen filming his latest spy thriller Black Bag with fellow A-lister Cate Blanchett last week.
The Hollywood legend, 71, looked in his element as he played a spy called Spiegel during filming on the streets of London’s Marylebone on Friday.
The Irish actor cut a typically suave figure in a navy blue suit and matching vest, wearing black sunglasses as he beamed into the camera lens.
The 007 star was spotted heading into a shop where he met his co-star Cate, 55.
The Carol actress looked unrecognizable as she wore a brown wig with long, wavy locks – a world away from her usual platinum bob.

Pierce was the fifth actor to star as James Bond in the legendary franchise, starring in four films from 1995 to 2000 (portrayed as James Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies in 1997)
Cate looked chic as she wore a brown leather jacket with a black maxi dress underneath.
The Blue Jasmine star completed her ensemble with black slouchy heel boots and accessorized with a pair of blue-tinted aviators, while carrying a water bottle.
The lucky audience members seemed amazed as they walked past the stage, with one fan especially in awe of Pierce as he stopped to take photos of the actor.
The upcoming American spy thriller for Focus Feature is directed by Steven Soderbergh, known for directing Erin Brockovich, Logan Lucky, Magic Mike and the iconic Ocean’s Trilogy.
The film will star Michael Fassbender alongside Cate, and they’ll be joined by Bridgerton favorite Regé-Jean Page and Skyfall’s Naomie Harris.
It also stars Marisa Abela, who recently made headlines for her role in the Amy Winehouse biopic Back To Black, and The Crown actor Tom Burke.
Plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, with filming and production set to start in London earlier this month.
Casey Silver and Greg Jacobs are behind the production while the script is written David Koepp – known as one of the most successful screenwriters of all time at the US box office.

Pierce has also been busy filming Prince Naseem Hamed’s upcoming biopic Giant, looks barely recognizable in the role leaving his dashing look for a receding white wig.
Pierce transforms into Prince Naseem’s boxing trainer Brendan Ingle and trades his neat 007 suits for a grungy tracksuit.
His usual impressive quiff of silver hair was hidden beneath a wig of white hair, which swept back at the crown and was combed forward.
The film is produced by Rocky star Sylvester Stallone and written and directed by Rowan Athale, with Amir taking on the role of Prince Naseem.
Amir is a British-Egyptian actor who won Best Young Actor at the Egyptian Oscars in 2009 and is known for his roles in Jon Stewart’s directorial debut Rosewater, the multi-award winning series The Night Manager and the BAFTA nominated The State.
Giant tells the compelling true story of the British-Yemeni boxer and his rags to riches rise in the tough working class streets of Sheffield and his discovery by Brendan, himself a steel industry worker turned boxing trainer.
In the film, the boxer becomes world champion under the guidance of the Irish-born boxing trainer.
