James Argent hints he and new girlfriend Nicoline Artursson will be heading out on a double date with Mark Wright and wife Michelle Keegan – before sharing awkward living set-up with one TOWIE star

James Argent has revealed that he and his girlfriend Nicoline Artursson are already planning double dates with his best friend Mark Wright and his wife Michelle Keegan.

After their chance meeting in a supermarket in July, the couple has already moved in together and is in talks OK! MagazineNicoline said she has already met many of James’ friends from his time on The Only Way Is Essex.

James shared that while Nicoline has met his best friend Mark, she is excited to cross paths with his wife Michelle Keegan.

He said: ‘She’s met Mark a few times now, at my gig and in the pub. So that was really fun. She hasn’t met Michelle yet, but I’m sure she will.’

Nicoline added: ‘I’m looking forward to meeting Michelle.’

Despite moving into their home together after just four months of dating, James revealed there’s one particularly sticky problem with their new living situation.

James shared that although Nicoline has already met his best friend Mark, she is excited to cross paths with his wife Michelle Keegan (Mark and Michelle are pictured in September)

He added: ‘Dan Edgar lives with me so she sees him a lot and she gives him motivational talks before Dancing On Ice.

“Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou came over a few weeks ago, and we all had a takeaway at my place. And she met Joey [Essex].’

In their first interview together, James and Nicoline, 31, revealed it was love at first sight for the pair after they bumped into each other outside a Spanish supermarket.

And since that fateful meeting, Nicoline has moved to Britain and has now moved into Arg’s house in Essex.

Describing the moment they met, James revealed he thought Nicoline was out of his league but decided he had nothing to lose.

He said: ‘I was walking to my gig at Elliott Wright’s restaurant in Marbella.

‘Suddenly I see a woman coming towards me. I thought, ‘Wow, she’s beautiful.’ She was only wearing her gym clothes and no makeup. She had actually just fed a stray cat.”

And after working up the courage, James asked her out.

Nicole described James as a handsome man with a big smile, before adding that he makes her laugh, and it was these qualities that helped strengthen their relationship.

James and Nicoline went on their first date a week later, where James explained his past addiction problems and his weight loss, and the couple were so engrossed in each other that they forgot to order anything to eat.

Despite James’ confession about his seven-year drug addiction, which included a near-fatal overdose, hospitalization and a period of rehabilitation, the model was unfazed.

Just months later, the pair appear more loved up than ever and during the interview, the blonde beauty who previously modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch pointed to her Christmas stocking on the fireplace in the reality star’s living room.

James explained that they would both “definitely love to have a family one day.” while Nicoline added that one of her favorite things about James is “he’s very family oriented.”

James said: “We’re both at the right stage of our lives. We’ve both had lives, we’ve both had experiences with previous partners, but now is a really good time to be sure about who you’re with.”

In September, James packed on the PDA with his Nicoline when the couple was spotted kissing in St. Tropez.

The former TOWIE star looked smitten with his former Miss Sweden love as the pair enjoyed a dip in the sea.

Nicoline, 31, won the Miss World Sweden beauty pageant in 2011 and modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch. She was also asked to participate in the French version The Bachelorette, but refused to focus on her studies.

It is James’ first relationship since splitting from ex Stella Turian last November and the star previously said he felt he would never find someone.

In March, Arg told the newspaper My dirty laundry podcast that he was really having a hard time on Valentine’s Day because of his single status – and that he had to stay off social media because it was killing him so much.

After dealing with his demons, staying sober for two years and losing 15 pounds, James said, “I’m in a really good place. Everything in my life is perfect, except my love life. It would be nice if that would change.

‘I’ll be completely honest: this year I really had a hard time with Valentine’s Day. I remember waking up and thinking, I’m not going to look at social media.

“It’s not that I’m heartbroken or upset, but just because I knew it wouldn’t make me feel good because I didn’t have a Valentine, I don’t have a girlfriend.

‘But I couldn’t help it. There were times when I just took a quick look and all you saw were couples. Everyone is madly in love. Everyone is happy.

‘Everyone is on a date. There are flowers, there are balloons, there are chocolates, there are date nights or outings or happily married couples – and yes, it started to affect me a little bit.”
