James ‘Arg’ Argent performs at a charity boxing event as Ed Westwick films it

He has made a name for himself as a professional event singer.

And James ‘Arg’ Argent recently took his singing talents to a charity boxing event at London’s Covent Garden on Saturday night.

The event drew a guest list of celebrities, including actor Ed Westwick, who seemed very impressed with Arg’s singing skills when he was in the audience.

The Gossip Girl star, 35, was spotted filming the former TOWIE star singing a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me to the Moon.

Arg was dressed in a gray three-piece suit and boots, paired with a white shirt and tie, with his dark hair combed back, as he performed at the charity party.

Ed’s appearance in the English capital comes after he was in Cannes this week at the annual film festival with girlfriend Amy Jackson.

While his girlfriend was pictured without her beau on the Monster premiere red carpet, his Instagram revealed that he had been in the South of France with her.

Earlier this week, fans of Gossip Girl went berserk over a cryptic tweet that suggested the cast of the original series might be reuniting.

Gossip Girl was Ed’s big break as he stole scenes and hearts with his loveable rogue character, Chuck Bass.

Gossip Girl’s official Twitter account shared a photo of the six protagonists from the hit teen drama alongside a “welcome back” message.

It said, “Welcome back, Upper East Siders. After being away for a long time, I see it didn’t take you much time to soil the blank slate I gave you.’

Fans quickly flooded the comment section demanding to know what the tweet meant and whether it hinted at a possible Gossip Girl reunion.

One user asked, “WHAT DOES IT MEAN” while another said, “If this has nothing to do with THE CAST IN THIS PHOTO, you can keep it.”

Another added, “I’d die for a more “mature” Gossip Girl with the original adult cast. Marriage, children, inheritance, everything.’

The original show, which ran for six seasons, followed the lives of privileged teens who attended an exclusive Manhattan private school and the mysterious blogger who anonymously shared their scandalous secrets.

Based on the novel series of the same name, it starred Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick.

A reboot series featuring a new cast of characters premiered on HBO Max but failed to have the same impact as the original and was canceled after two seasons.

Ed previously told MailOnline that he would be more than happy to reprise his role as bad boy Chuck Bass in a future reunion.

He revealed, “Me wouldn’t say no. It would be cool! I don’t know if that’s a direction they could go in though!

“I’m amazed and it feels crazy to be a part of something so big,” Ed confessed. “It was a big part of my life then and it still is, and now with the reboot an entire generation can enjoy it.”

The fan base certainly hasn’t wavered over the years, with Ed admitting, “People come up to me and call me Chuck all the time.”

Penn Badgley stars as serial killer Joe Goldberg on the hit Netflix series You, while Chace plays superhero The Deep on Amazon’s sci-fi show The Boys.

Blake Lively has starred in films including A Simple Favor and The Rhythm Section, while also having four children with husband Ryan Reynolds.

Leighton Meester currently appears in the Hulu sitcom How I Met Your Father, while Ed recently starred in the movie Me You Madness with Louise Lynton.

Elsewhere, Taylor Momsen has left acting behind since Gossip Girl and is now the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless.
