Jameela Jamil has pushed the political discourse around Donald Trump’s landslide victory after the Republican was re-elected US president on Wednesday.
But instead of focusing her thoughts on Trump’s victory, the actress and political activist shared her belief that it was liberals’ mistakes that cost the election.
Posting a simple shocked emoji to her Instagram grid, Jameela took to the comments as she delivered an impassioned speech declaring that the left has “scared away their own support.”
In response to a comment that read, “America really hates women,” Jameela wrote, “Yes, it does…but also liberals have made 10,000 mistakes.”
She opened up about the mistakes: ‘RBG should have resigned earlier. Biden should have resigned sooner. The White House and media should not have covered up his apparent cognitive decline.

‘The left/liberals have been an increasingly alienating, hypocritical, exclusionary and punitive party for eight years. They drove away their own support.
‘They didn’t listen to their constituents in the Middle East. The liberal media has been dishonest in ways that have cost them the public’s trust and then been discovered.
“The Democrats have mandated C0v1d vaccines, dismantling the ‘my body, my choice’ rhetoric. At every opportunity for the past eight years, they talked down to the people they most needed to convert.”
Speaking about Kamala Harris’ campaign, she continued, “They chose a candidate to replace Biden who missed so many opportunities to explain POLICY in far too many interviews and only focused on the fact that she’s not him. They rejected both K and her vice president. we continue with Joe Rogan – perhaps the most important platform in the world to convert any demographic group.’
“People with big platforms waited until election day to support and encourage people to go to the polls.”
‘The Liberals were so confident they could beat him. To the point where many supported a third party candidate who didn’t stand a chance against a man who had a rabid fan base for nine years.
“They ignored and demonized young men and boys rather than engaging them, allowing them to be indoctrinated by the far right. The list goes on.’
Jameela emphasized that issues of race and misogyny are not the main reason why Kamala lost the election, as she suggested the real cause was a lack of policy.

Kamala Harris failed to convincingly outperform Joe Biden in any U.S. district, as Jameela wrote: “We elevated race and gender politics above policy and the working class, and demonstrated the full integrity we expect from the opposition demanded

Taking to her Instagram Story to share her lengthy comment, she explained her choice to speak out and preached the importance of responsibility
She concluded, “I have changed. We can all change. We have to change. Now’
She continued, “Yes, America has a misogyny problem. Yes, America has a race problem. But it will be disingenuous for any of us to align it all with that, and this binary thinking is what got us here in the first place.
“We elevated race and gender politics above policy and the working class and demonstrated the full integrity we demanded from the opposition.
‘My heart is broken. But I’m also very angry because we had the power and the opportunity to prevent this outcome.”
Taking to Instagram Story to share her lengthy comment, she explained her choice to speak out and preached the importance of responsibility.
She added, “I say all this because IF we even get another chance now that we’ve put a potential autocrat in power… we have a lot more housework to do. There is freedom of choice in accountability.’
“Perhaps those politically left of center can see that self-cannibalizing, punitive, morally superior, condescending and hypocritical approaches have not worked and that we must learn how to unite and organize.
‘I have been advocating for this for years, because I realized the harmful way I used to speak politically/socio-politically.
