Ja’Marr Chase gives three-word verdict on Joe Burrow after Bengals’ huge win over the Broncos
Ja’Marr Chase couldn’t hide his joy at Joe Burrow’s performance in the Cincinnati Bengals’ blowout win over the Denver Broncos.
Burrow inspired the Bengals to a 30-24 overtime victory on Saturday night to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The quarterback was so good that some consider Burrow the best player in the NFL right now.
Burrow continued his stellar season by completing 39 of his 49 passes for 412 yards and three touchdowns – including the game-winner in overtime.
The 28-year-old has at least 250 yards passing and three touchdowns in eight straight games, extending his NFL record.
Chase, who had nine receptions for 102 yards on Saturday, took to social media to praise his quarterback after the game and offer a three-word verdict.

He wrote: ‘POP IT SHIEST’
Shiest is one of the nicknames given to Burrow since he moved to the NFL with the No. 1 overall pick in 2020.
The name was given to him by TikTok influencer Traphouse Sports.
Urban Dictionary defines timidity as “an action that is greedy and/or careless. If a person is shy, it means that he does not think about others and do things that help him, even if he knows it will harm someone else in some way.”
That certainly suits Burrow right now, given the way he’s splitting up NFL defenses.
Cowboys star Micah Parsons even made Burrow’s case for the coveted Most Valuable Player award after the Broncos game.
In fact, the Dallas Cowboys star believes sending his team into the postseason shouldn’t even be debated.

A more important figure who agrees with Parsons’ opinion is Bengals head coach Zac Taylor.
Taylor also named Burrow this season’s MVP after his quarterback’s latest breathtaking performance, insisting he wouldn’t trade him for “any player in the universe.”
“I don’t know that anyone can stand on a field and look at Joe Burrow and say he’s not the best player in the world,” he argued.
‘And you can transfer that argument to [Bengals wide receiver] Ja’Marr Chase too. And you can fight those two to death. But the clearest thing I can say is that I wouldn’t trade Joe Burrow for any player in the universe, and for me that’s MVP.”
