Before the final women’s college basketball game of the year, celebrities from both inside and outside the sport gathered in Cleveland to watch Iowa play South Carolina in the national championship game.
Iowa had controversially defeated UConn on Friday to reach this point, while South Carolina steamrolled NC State to reach the title game.
Celebrities were seen wearing jerseys supporting certain teams, including actor Jason Sudeikis and musician Darius Rucker.
Sudeikis, who grew up in Kansas, was a close follower of Iowa star Caitlin Clark and was seen wearing a T-shirt in Iowa colors.

Rucker, a born and raised South Carolinian and a Gamecocks fan, was seen wearing his team’s gear.
Both Sudeikis and Rucker bet with each other backstage at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse – under the supervision of former journalist Robin Roberts.
They laughed together before their two teams faced off – with Roberts also smiling and laughing.
In addition to the musician, comedian and journalist, well-known athletes from other sports were also in the audience.
