Jake Paul has turned his attention to taunting Conor McGregor, who he believes has washed up and can easily fight.
Speak against talkSPORT on Wednesday, Paul predicted he will one day fight McGregor and even said he would learn MMA to get it done.
“If I knock Nate Diaz out, I think Conor McGregor is going to see me, want a payday and come knock out,” said Paul.
“We can fight in the PFL SmartCage, whatever it is. I told everyone I would fight Conor in any form of combat because, in my opinion, he is that shooter.
“I do MMA, I’m not afraid to get into it. I’ve wanted to do that all my career. I am a wrestler, wrestler background.
Jake Paul has goaded UFC fighter Conor McGregor, describing the Irishman as ‘shot down’
McGregor is about to fight Michael Chandler at one point – his rival coach on Ultimate Fighter
McGregor has not fought since July 2021 when he broke his leg during a fight with Dustin Poirier
“So all I should learn is some jiu-jitsu and some kicks, which seems pretty easy to me.”
Paul will fight Diaz on August 5 in Texas and has also been trying to secure a rematch against Tommy Fury after losing to him earlier this year.
McGregor is currently scheduled to return to UFC with a fight against Michael Chandler – the duo are the coaches on the latest Ultimate Fighter series.
On this week’s episode, McGregor shoved Chandler and threatened to break his nose as they faced off after Chandler’s fighter beat one of McGregor’s in the series.
McGregor last fought in 2021 when he broke his leg against Dustin Poirier.
There are a number of reasons to suggest McGregor won’t fight Chandler this year, but this week the Irishman insisted his preparation is going according to plan.
McGregor was recently charged with sexual assault by a woman he allegedly met during the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets.
The woman met McGregor during the game at the Kaseya Center and left the arena when she claimed his security told her he was asking about her in the bathroom. Once in the bathroom, she claims he forced her to perform oral sex on him and forcibly kissed her.

McGregor, meanwhile, was accused of sexually assaulting a woman during the NBA Finals in June
She claims McGregor then spat on her and himself as he tried to rouse himself. The woman’s lawyer told DailyMail.com that she went to the police to report the incident, but was turned down and advised to hire legal help.
McGregor denies the allegations. “These allegations are false. Mr McGregor will not be intimidated,” his lawyer said in a statement when the allegations surfaced.
In addition, he still has to re-enroll in the USADA drug testing pool and recently missed the deadline to host his upcoming fight with Michael Chandler this year.
The final UFC pay-per-view event of 2023 is scheduled for December 16, so McGregor should have made himself available for testing by June 16 to complete the mandatory six months of random drug testing in order to compete.
However, McGregor has still not been added to USADA’s online database. In fact, he hasn’t been there since the third quarter of 2021.
Still, McGregor recently insisted on Twitter that he is “well prepared” for his upcoming fight, suggesting he could return to action this year.
