Jake Paul shocks Hawk Tuah girl Haliey Welch with $1milllion walkout outfit claim for Mike Tyson fight
- Paul will reportedly earn around $40 million for his fight with Mike Tyson
- The YouTuber claimed he will wear the most expensive outfit in boxing history
- Paul had also worn a $100,000 earmuff to mock Tyson prior to the fight
Jake Paul has claimed he will wear the ‘most expensive outfit in boxing history’ on Friday night when he enters the ring to face Mike Tyson in Texas.
The YouTuber turned boxer meets the former world heavyweight boxing champion at AT&T Stadium.
Their showdown has sparked controversy due to the fighters’ 31-year age difference, with several raising concerns about 58-year-old Tyson’s health.
Paul will reportedly bank $40 million (£31 million) in Texas, while Tyson will walk away with at least $20 million (£15.7 million), a figure that could almost double depending on how the fight goes.
Some of Paul’s earnings appear to have already been spent, after he claimed he would be wearing a $1million (£780,000) outfit during his strike for the fight.
Paul made the claim on the Talk Tuah Podcast with Haliey Welch, where he revealed that his entrance will be partly inspired by Iron Mike’s legendary boxing career.

Paul shocked Haliey Welch by claiming his walkout outfit for the fight will be worth $1 million
“This outfit I made for the fight is the most expensive fighting outfit in the history of boxing,” Paul said.
“It’s $1 million.
‘It cost a pretty penny and it’s very shiny, those are the hints I’ll give.
“Before the strike I’m going to drive to the ring in a certain vehicle, that’s going to be pretty cool.
“You’ll have to wait and see about the rest, the song has a bit to do with Mike Tyson’s career and a movie he made.”
Paul’s claim about the cost of his outfit prompted a shocked response from Welch, who shot to fame with the viral ‘Hawk Tuah’ video.
Welch’s co-host also said ‘what the f***’ in response to Paul’s statement.
His bold claim will likely draw further attention to his strike due to the unlikely fight with Tyson.

It’s not the only bizarre purchase Paul made ahead of the fight, with a distinctive earpiece on Paul’s helix highlighted during the pre-fight press conference.
TMZ Sports reported that VOBARA’s cover cost a whopping $100,000 (£78,000). The YouTuber turned fighter wore it on his right ear in a pricey reference to Tyson’s infamous bite on Evander Holyfield during their 1997 heavyweight rematch.
Paul and Tyson clashed at the pre-fight weigh-in, with the latter punching the YouTuber in response to the 27-year-old stepping on his toes.
Paul seemed relatively unfazed by the stoppage, as Tyson was restrained and made little comment before leaving the stage. That gave Paul the opportunity to send his final message via the microphone.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani on stage, Paul said: ‘Mike Tyson, that was a cute slap buddy, but tomorrow you’re going to get the fuck knocked out.
‘I’m fucking him, I’m fucking him! He hits like crazy. It’s personal now, it’s personal now!
The weigh-in revealed that Tyson was just over a pound heavier than Paul. Having previously operated as a cruiserweight, Paul has expanded to take on Tyson, weighing in at 227.2 pounds.
Tyson, 58, is 19 years removed from his last sanctioned professional fight, despite competing in an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.
