UFC icon Nate Diaz has Jake Paul ‘Jesus Christ!’ by abruptly walking out of their chaotic press conference ahead of their August 5 blockbuster boxing match in Texas.

Diaz, 38, will make his professional boxing debut against the former YouTuber – who suffered the first loss of his career to Tommy Fury in February.

At one point during a bizarre press conference at the American Airlines Arena, an agitated Diaz stood up and walked off stage without explanation, leaving Paul stunned.

“Is this man leaving?” Paul asked incredulously.

Press conference moderator Ariel Helwani informed Paul that Diaz was taking a bathroom break.

‘Jesus Christ!’ said Paul.

“I’ve never seen anything like it.”

The other moment of the afternoon that made headlines came when a member of the media, and aspiring boxer, threatened to beat up Diaz’ brother Nick.

“Nate, I’m actually a boxer myself and I’ve been trying to get on this undercard,” the reporter said.

“I’m just wondering if you think I can fight your brother, Nick? If he’s anything like you, I think I’d beat him.’

Diaz, who is not one to shy away from a street fight, glared at the reporter.

“You know my homeboys are seeing you now,” he told the reporter.

“That was stupid, wasn’t it? That was stupid. What’s your name?’

The reporter replied that he was “Derrick from Betr Media.”

Diaz didn’t pull a fist with his answer.

“Hey, Derrick from Betr Media, you’re a stupid asshole,” he said.

‘The f***? You deserve to get spanked.”

Jake Paul stepped in to say he was going to “fire” the reporter.

“He works for my company. I’ll arrange that later. I’m sorry about that Nate,” Paul told the press conference.

‘I’ll fire him later. Dirk, shut up. Derrick, shut up.’

As it turns out, Betr Media is Jake Paul’s gambling company, and Paul wasn’t happy with the reporter’s comments.

‘I’ll sort that out later. I’m sorry about that Nate.

“I’ll fire him later.”

Both fighters predicted victory, with Paul saying he would win in four rounds and Diaz saying he would win in ten rounds.

“Well, it’s an eight-round fight,” Paul pointed out quickly.

Paul has already defeated veterans Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley twice and Ben Askren in the ring, with Diaz becoming the fourth MMA fighter he has taken on.
