Jake Paul made a bold move after winning his match against Ryan Bourland and drafted super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez.

The former YouTuber boxer defeated Bourland, a former Golden Gloves champion, by technical knockout in one round.

After taking his professional record to 9-1 with two wins against established fighters, Paul set his sights on Alvarez.

“I mean, he should have given it to me, right? This guy has 19 fights, he is super experienced. I think we need to step it up a lot more,” Paul said on DAZN after the fight.

‘But I’m ready. I’m getting sharp. This is my life now and, like I said, I’m on my way to becoming a world champion.

“Canelo, stop bending over. I know you want it. I represent Puerto Rico, you represent Mexico, so it’s Puerto Rico versus Mexico,” Paul continued.

‘I want Canelo. I want all the biggest names. Like I said, I’m the face of this sport. Really, who does more for boxing than me? I keep proving myself over and over again.’

Bourland didn’t fight Paul much as the YouTube star continued to pile on the punches throughout the first round.

After the former Golden Gloves champion finally stopped fighting back, the referee finally called for a stoppage with 23 seconds left in the first round.

Despite calling out Alvarez – who is still considered by many to be out of his league – Paul remained tight-lipped about who he would step into the boxing ring against next.

‘We will see. It’s back to the drawing board. I don’t want to give anyone any attention because a lot of these guys don’t want to sign the contract, especially if I keep doing things like this against all my opponents.

‘I’m on my way to becoming world champion and I want to keep fighting harder fights. If a money fight comes up, I’ll take it because it’s fun. But for now, I will stay on the path of fighting real fighters and increasing the resistance.”
