Young Aussie Jake Anderson identified as tradie killed in horrific workplace accident at Engadine
A tradie who died after being electrocuted and falling from a roof while at work has been identified as a young man who recently moved in with his partner.
Jake Anderson, in his twenties, died in a workplace accident in Engadine, south Sydney, on January 30.
Another man in his 60s was treated at the scene by paramedics and has since recovered.
Mr Anderson had just bought his first home and lived with his partner Jessica Brooke and her daughter Evie
Family friend Luke O’Neile launched one GoFundMe to ensure his partner and daughter have a place to live “as they navigate the uncertain times ahead.”

Mr O’Neile wrote that Mr Anderson was an avid skater, footballer and laborer who enjoyed drinking Reschs beer in his spare time.
“Jake passed away as a result of a tragic workplace incident,” he wrote.
“This horrific news has left Jake’s friends and loved ones in complete grief and disbelief.”
‘Jake’s tenacious work ethic recently enabled him to purchase his first home for himself, his beautiful partner Jess and her daughter Evie, whom he loved dearly.
“We would love Jess and Evie to continue living in this home for as long as possible and provide financial stability in the uncertain times ahead.”
Mr O’Niele said the $30,000 he was seeking for the family would go towards rent, food and monthly bills as well as general financial security.
Even though the fundraiser only launched on Wednesday, hundreds of donations have already been received and more than $25,000 has been raised.
Family friend Luke O’Niele said the money raised would help Mrs Brooke and her daughter Evie to continue living in the house
