As if it wasn't painful enough that Trevor Lawrence was injured late in the Jaguars' game against Cincinnati on Monday night, fans were outraged by the perceived lack of care toward the Jacksonville franchise quarterback.
After suffering an ankle injury in the fourth quarter, Lawrence was forced to walk through the tunnel with assistance instead of being wheeled on a cart to avoid putting weight on the affected lower leg.
Fans expressed their frustration at the lack of urgency on social media.
“No, because this is ridiculous,” one fan wrote on X. “They should get a cart for Trevor Lawrence instead of making him walk all the way.”
“What the heck, man,” another added. “We can't get a crazy cart for Trevor Lawrence? Does he have to walk eight miles to the locker room?'

A fourth fan complained: “They're home and this is the best they could do?”
The game was tied at 28 with less than six minutes remaining when Lawrence suffered the injury thanks to his own teammate.
Offensive tackle Walker Little blindly stepped on Lawrence's right ankle while trying to shield him from Cincinnati's Trey Hendrickson. Lawrence immediately fell to the ground, holding his leg as Hendrickson fell on top of him. Bengals defensive tackle B.J. Hill also dove on top of Lawrence to try to collect the ball.
Lawrence was visibly frustrated knowing he was getting hurt but tried to get up from the turf. After taking three steps, Lawrence was once again on his hands and knees. Unable to get up, Lawrence hit the ground and threw away his helmet before being helped off the field.
