Jade Thirlwall dressed up as an elf as she ran out into the icy North Sea to take part in her local Boxing Day Dip.
The Little Mix singer braved the icy waters on her 30th birthday to raise money for Cancer Connections at the annual event in her hometown of South Shields, South Tyneside.
She donned an elf costume complete with a hat and pointy ears, accompanied by her boyfriend Jordan Stephens, 30.

The couple shared a kiss, before Jade prepared to run across the sand with the other bathers.
The Boxing Day Dip is a charity event where swimmers dress up to run into the sea.
Jade’s cold bath comes after it was revealed that she raised nearly £900K in one year.
Meanwhile, former bandmate Jesy Nelson earned a significantly smaller amount at £140K over the same time period.

Despite not having released new music in the last year, Jade has managed to rise financially thanks to her already famous image and association with the band.
Her private firm, nicknamed Jade Amelia, made an impressive profit of £867.0703 in one year, new financial statements revealed.
Added on December 21, the new statements show that Jade’s company net worth was £1,413,333 in the year ending March 31.
This comes a year after it sat at £545,631, showing a significant increase.

Meanwhile, Jesy’s company raked in around £140,000 in the year’s time frame, which is noticeably less than Jade’s.
The Boyz singer made the decision to leave Little Mix, which also contains members Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, in 2020 when she revealed the band was “taking a toll” on her mental health.
Recently, the band reportedly had to ‘call the lawyers’ after several of their previously unreleased songs leaked online.
According to Sun Former member Jesy also appears on several tracks, which complicates matters.

A source told the publication: “The source of the leaks has become a big concern for [record company] RCA that has launched an official investigation.
“It’s frustrating since these songs were never meant to see the light of day.”
They went on to say that many of the demos appeared to have been recorded around 2017, when the group was working on their fifth album LM5.
The Insider continued: “What RCA wants to know is who is leaking the songs and why.”
As the clips began circulating, Jade admitted she was baffled by the leaks while responding to a fan on social media.

Clarifying a track title, he said: ‘That song was actually called Pink Champagne. It was for LM5, I don’t know how it leaked’.
Before adding: “Pink Champagne was the snip that leaked for no reason but we moved.”
Other songs included a collaboration with Colombian singer Maluma, 28, titled Señorita.
As well as the group’s version of Sigala’s Stay The Night, which was later released by Talia Mar in 2021 and reached number 11 on the UK charts.
