Jade Jagger, 51, ‘is arrested in Ibiza accused of attacking a police officer’ Spanish media claim

Jade Jagger has been arrested in Ibiza for allegedly assaulting a police officer when they tried to mediate an altercation at a restaurant, according to one of Spain’s largest newspapers.

Jade, the daughter of Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger and his first wife Bianca, was dining with a male friend at a restaurant in Ibiza’s old town on Wednesday night when they reportedly became aggressive and violent towards the wait staff.

The British jewelery designer’s male friend, 31, whose name has not been released, reportedly started shouting, insulting and threatening staff at the restaurant on Sa Creu Street, before national police were called to the scene, reports the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.

The national police arrived at the restaurant and tried to diffuse the situation by telling Jade’s friend to stop yelling. But the man allegedly attacked the police officers by pushing and hitting them.

Jade, 51, then reportedly came out of the restaurant yelling “stupid cops” and “f*** the cops” at officers before allegedly assaulting a policewoman by shoving and scratching her.

The 51-year-old was reportedly restrained by police officers before being taken away in a police vehicle.

Jade and her boyfriend are still under arrest as of 12 a.m. local time, reports Cronica Baler. They are reportedly set to appear in court later today.

Ibiza police confirmed to MailOnline that there was an altercation at a restaurant in Ibiza and a 31-year-old man and woman were arrested after insulting and assaulting police officers.

MailOnline has reached out to Jade’s representatives for comment.

A well-placed source said: “Police arrested two people in Ibiza last night, a man and a woman.

“At around 9pm there was a police intervention following a call from a restaurant about a man they believe was behaving violently towards customers and workers. The man was gone when police arrived.

“People in the restaurant, including staff and a manager and a few customers, told officers he had been aggressive to them and they had refused to serve him any more drinks and he left.

A man on the street then approached police patrol cars outside and told them a man was threatening passersby.

When officers approached him, he began insulting them in English with increasing aggressiveness, refused to identify himself and was very hostile.

“They tried to calm him down several times and finally he hurled himself at the police and attacked one of them and he had to be arrested.

“Then a woman appeared who was very aggressive and threw herself at a police officer, pushed him and insulted him.

“The police managed to calm her down and then called an ambulance for the man who was very aggressive and bad and attacked health workers and police again when the ambulance arrived.

“At that point the woman comes back on the scene, fighting an officer before pushing and punching that officer. She was then also arrested.’

The woman would be 51 years old and the man, whose nationality is unknown, 31 years old.

They were being held for assaulting police and resisting arrest, another well-placed source said.

They were held in police cells overnight and are expected to appear in court this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

On Friday, Jade posted a photo of herself posing on a sun lounger at the five-star Nobu Hotel in Ibiza Bay to Instagram, with the caption: “Spring back to Ibiza with a little glamour.”

The businesswoman divorced DJ Adrian Fillary in 2021, nine years after their star-studded Cotswolds wedding, which was attended by guests such as Kate Moss and her ex-husband Jamie Hince.

She is said to be ‘devastated’ by the breakdown of their relationship, with a source telling the Mail on Sunday at the time: ‘This is all very sad. They thought they would be together forever, but that didn’t quite work out.’

They said the estranged couple were “100 percent committed” to co-parenting their son Ray, now eight, adding: “Things remain amicable for him.”

And last month, Jade was photographed holding hands with a man – believed to be Barbadian Anthony Hinkson – in London. The pair were spotted walking out of a lingerie store enjoying drinks together, and at one point swapped jackets.

Hinkson offered bespoke sunset dining experiences at a beach bar in Barbados last year, with Instagram videos of him manning the barbeque for customers.

Jade liked a series of images on his account, writing “beautiful life on the beach, living the dream” on a photo of an oil barrel barbecue.

In 2021, Jade divorced her husband Adrian Fillary. They share their eight-year-old son Ray.

Jade gave birth to Ray just a month after giving birth to her first grandchild when her daughter Assisi Jackson, 30, went into labour.

“People are often surprised to hear that, I gave birth to my first granddaughter, Ezra, myself,” she told British Vogue in 2018.

“All of this might have been a little easier to handle if I hadn’t been nearly nine months pregnant myself.

“But I suppose that’s the sort of thing that happens when your family isn’t too concerned about convention.”
