Jade Heffer, Trent Jeske: Sydney underworld couple arrested in dramatic drug raid at their Merrylands home

The latest power couple from Sydney’s underworld have been arrested in a dramatic early morning drug raid, just a month after they got married.

Lone Wolf cycling widow Jade Heffer, 28, and Trent Jeske, 26, made headlines last month after reports that the couple tied the knot in an Islamic ceremony following his recent release from prison.

The newlyweds were woken on Thursday morning by heavily armed officers from the NSW Police Raptor Squad who banged on the door and burst into their home in Merrylands in Sydney’s west.

The raid was carried out as part of an investigation into the distribution of drugs by criminal networks using ‘dial-a-dealer’ phones.

Police separated the pair – a shirtless and handcuffed Jeske and his pajama-clad wife – outside the house.

A quick outfit change later, Jeske was led away in a blue Oklahoma basketball jersey with gray shorts, and Heffer in an ankle-length cream jacket and flip-flops.

The pair were taken to Granville police station in separate police cars.

Heffer was charged with breach of bail.

She appeared in Parramatta Local Court on Thursday afternoon where she was released on bail.

Her release is subject to strict bail conditions, one of which prohibits her from seeing Jeske.

Other conditions include not being with her or contacting her husband, not contacting members of the Alameddine family, surrendering her passport and not going near international airports or place of international departure, the Daily telegram reported.

Heffer also has to report to the police by telephone every day and cannot leave her house unless in the company of her parents.

Jeske was charged with driving while the driver’s license application was denied.

He was also granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on May 30.

The investigation continues under the leadership of Strike Force Wessex, which was established by the State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups Squad to investigate suspected criminal groups involved in drug trafficking using drug phones or ‘dial-a-dealer’ phones throughout Sydney.

Heffer is the former wife of well-known underworld figure and Lone Wolf bikie Yusuf Nazlioglu, who was shot dead in the couple’s Rhode apartment building in 2022.

The small-town girl who once worked as a butcher at Coles started dating another high-profile underworld figure in 2023: Ahmad ‘Alan’ Alameddine’.

The pair made headlines in August that year when Heffer allegedly obstructed police who turned up at Alameddine’s home in Greenacre, in Sydney’s west, to check his compliance with a firearms ban.

Alameddine is said to have escaped and spent a month on the run while Heffer remained in prison – until he was arrested on September 6 after being picked up for having sex with another woman in a dilapidated unit in South Coogee.

Jeske was released in February after serving 20 months behind bars for being the leader of the street group Ready 4 War, which distributed drugs for the Alameddine crime gang.

He recently rose to fame for his inspiring weight loss journey – with photos revealing the stunning transformation.

Jeske was able to move the significant amount of weight after surgery with a lap band, in which a ring was placed around the upper part of the stomach.

It’s unclear when and how the lovebirds met, but rumors started circulating when the initials “TJ” appeared in Heffer’s Instagram bio, with Jeske quickly following suit by including “JH” in his.

Not long after, Heffer shared a photo of a shiny new diamond ring on Facebook.
