Jade Heffer, Trent Jeske: Victory for underworld power couple who were forced apart just weeks after getting married

The latest power couple from Sydney’s underworld, who were arrested and forced apart after a dramatic drug bust, have won the right to see each other again.

The NSW Supreme Court on Wednesday reversed an earlier decision and allowed Lone Wolf bike widow Jade Heffer, 28, and Trent Jeske, 26, to reunite.

The couple had been separated for six days after being woken by Raptor Squad officers who launched a raid on Jeske’s rental home in Merrylands in Sydney’s west last Thursday.

The raid was carried out as part of an investigation into the distribution of drugs by criminal networks using ‘dial-a-dealer’ phones.

Although the exact date of their wedding is unknown, it is believed that Heffer and Jeske tied the knot sometime in April.

Heffer was found to have breached previous bail conditions, requiring her to live with her mother in Barham on the NSW-Victoria border.

Her previous charges relate to allegations that she obstructed a police investigation into former partner Ahmad ‘Alan’ Alameddine last August while he was wanted by police on drug charges.

Heffer spent seven weeks in custody before being released on strict bail conditions.

She has yet to enter a plea to the previous charges.

A judge at Parramatta Local Court added stricter conditions to her bail last Thursday following the alleged bail breach, banning Heffer from any contact with Jeske or being within 200 meters of his home.

Supreme Court Justice Natalie Adams struck down that condition Wednesday, noting that police had unearthed nothing unusual in the house, the Daily telegram reported.

The judge added that Jeske was not a co-defendant in any of the charges that resulted in Heffer’s bail.

“It’s quite unusual to have a non-association with someone who is not a co-offender,” Judge Adams said.

“I have to say I’ve never seen it before.”

Heffer’s revised bail conditions still require her to live at her mother’s home, but allow her to stay at Jeske’s home when she is in Sydney for pre-arranged legal and medical appointments.

Judge Adams noted that Jeske had a somewhat positive and stabilizing influence on his new wife.

Jeske was charged with the unrelated offense of driving while refused license application and granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on May 30.

Jeske was released in February after serving 20 months behind bars for being the leader of the street group Ready 4 War, which distributed drugs for the Alameddine crime gang.

Heffer is the former wife of well-known underworld figure and Lone Wolf bikie Yusuf Nazlioglu, who was shot dead in the couple’s apartment building in Rhodes in 2022.

The small-town girl who once worked as a butcher at Coles started dating another high-profile underworld figure in 2023: Ahmad ‘Alan’ Alameddine’.

The pair made headlines in August that year when Heffer allegedly obstructed police who turned up at Alameddine’s home in Greenacre, in Sydney’s west, to check his compliance with a firearms ban.

Alameddine is believed to have escaped and spent a month on the run while Heffer remained in prison – until he was arrested on September 6 after being picked up for having sex with another woman in a dilapidated unit in South Coogee.
