However, Jacqueline addressed the rumors, stating that the vacation had been planned for several months and that Dan had saved up to treat her.
Speaking to the Soap On The Box podcast, she said: “This is a holiday my husband has been saving for, as most people would have to, saving to treat me for my 30th birthday.”
‘For over a year saving up to try to get me there. Then it becomes a hit or miss. Who has that kind of money to just say, “Okay. Honey, we’re fighting. I’m taking you to the Maldives.”
This comes after Dan was arrested at Jacqueline’s 30th birthday party in November following an alleged assault, but faces no further action.

Jacqueline recently shut down reports that she would be returning to EastEnders full-time, after she returned to Albert Square to reprise her role as Lauren Branning for the first time since leaving the soap in 2017.
Writing a lengthy message on social media, he made it clear that he “will not return to the arena full time” and thanked fans for their support.
She explained: ‘I’ve just been inundated with lovely people, but thinking I’ll be back at EastEnders full time.
“I don’t know if anything was taken from an interview or made up entirely, but either way I’m shutting down any rumors or stories.
‘I’m not on my way back to the square full time, it’s not in talks, I don’t have 100 confirmed a return. It’s also not me saying I’d never go back, when and if the time is right I’d love to.
