Jacqueline Jose’s husband Dan Osborne admits he is ‘worried’ about his EastEnders character Lauren Branning as he prepares for an explosive return to the soap
Jacqueline Jossa is “excited and anxious” about the return of her EastEnders character Lauren Branning, her husband Dan Osborne has revealed.
Dan, 32, said The mirror that Jacqueline, 30, was ‘excited’ and ‘anxious’ to bring back EastEnders, having last been on the Square for a short time in June.
The former TOVIE star said Jacqueline is ‘excited to be back, can’t wait.’
“For a long time she was worried about Lauren getting back into it, but now she’s excited to be back.” Now is the right time for her, so that’s good.’
Jacqueline was the second actress to portray Lauren Branning, the first daughter of the infamous Max Branning, since 2010.

Speaking at the FRIGHT NIGHTS 2023 Thorpe Park launch eventDan says he probably won’t watch her return.
‘I don’t watch a lot of TV to be honest, if anything it’ll be Netflix or something.’ He admitted. “But I’m sure the girls will watch the parts.”
Dan and Jacqueline have two daughters together: Ella (7) and Mia (4). He also has a son, Teddy (9), from a previous relationship.
Jacqueline has thrown herself into motherhood since leaving her role as Lauren, and as of 2018 has only appeared twice as the character.
The actress also won the nineteenth season of I’m Famous… Get Me Out of Here! and was crowned Queen of the Jungle.
Lauren’s return was confirmed last week in a joint Instagram post by Jacqueline, EastEnders and the soap’s executive producer Chris Clanshaw.
Following the news, Jacqueline told The Sun: “It’s such an amazing time to be back because there’s so much buzz about EastEnders at the moment and I’ve been watching it and I’ve been a fan of it.
“Walford has such a special place in my heart so it really does feel like coming home.”
