In August, he split from Olivia Jade Giannulli, US Weekly reported.
Prior to that, he enjoyed a year-long romance with Cindy Crawford’s model daughter, Kaia Gerber.
His father, John, previously told Daily Mail Australia about how Jacob always had the confidence and dream of pursuing acting.
“Jacob always had a very strong self-confidence, but of course as parents you try to be pragmatic and we were very pragmatic,” John said from the family home in Brisbane.

‘He always knew what he wanted to be. And as his father there was one time I told him “Dude, acting is a one in a million situation.”
‘And he said to me, ‘Well, why can’t that be me? Why can’t I be that one in a million?’
That’s how confident he looked at things. So, as a father, we decided to support him as much as possible and trust that he knew what he was doing.”
