Zach Wilson was benched Thursday night as a Jets offense scored just three points, and the Jaguars handily beat their hosts 19-3 to bolster their postseason hopes.

Wilson went just 9 of 18 for 92 yards before being benched for Chris Streveler, who had only been raised from the practice squad earlier in the day.

Aside from an early field goal, which was greatly helped by the shortstop they received following a Trevor Lawrence fumble, the Jets’ offense was highly ineffective as the MetLife crowd booed them throughout the game.

Zach Wilson had an absolutely brutal night, completing 9-18 yards for 92 yards and an INT.

Meanwhile, it was a mature performance from the Jaguars.

While some drives failed and kicker Riley Patterson attempted five field goals (four successful), Trevor Lawrence passed for 229 yards and rushed for 51 and a touchdown.

Former Giants tight end Evan Engram, who used to play his home games at MetLife, thoroughly enjoyed his homecoming as he caught seven passes for 113 yards.

With the result, both teams are 7-8, though it’s much better news for the Jaguars in a weak AFC South division.
