Jackson Warne and Novak Djokovic play tennis and a quick cricket game ahead of Australian Open

Jackson Warne, 24, stunned fans at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Thursday when he took to the net for a charity event.

The famously famous son of late cricketing great Shane Warne showed his form on the field.

Novak, 36, grew desperate awaiting Jackson’s next delivery and swapped his cricket bat for a racket.

The tennis great then managed to hit Jackson’s next fastball high into the stands.

Meanwhile, another video showed Jackson in a very relaxed tennis match against Novak.

Jackson also included a photo of himself sharing a joke backstage at Rod Laver Arena with Novak.

Cricket champion Steve Smith and tennis great Stefanos Tsitsipas were also present on the evening.

Jackson acknowledged the support for the Shane Warne Legacy in his post, which offers free heart tests, which was featured at the event.

‘What fun last night. Thanks for having me, I had so much fun!,” Jackson said in the caption of his story.

It comes after the celebrity revealed a personal triumph on Instagram after committing to a full year without alcohol following the death of his cricket star father Shane Warne.

In an inspiring display of resilience, Jackson chose to honor his father’s memory not with sadness, but with a commitment to health and clarity.

On January 1, Jackson shared the goal he set for himself at the beginning of 2023: staying alcohol-free for the entire year.

He wanted to demonstrate a healthier way to deal with life’s hardships, especially after experiencing the immense loss of his beloved father.

Shane, who rose to fame as the King of Spiders, tragically died of a heart attack on March 4, 2022, aged 52, while staying at a luxury villa on the Thai holiday island of Koh Samui.
