Jackson Mahomes refuses to comment as he leaves prison after aggravated sexual arrest
Jackson Mahomes, the brother of Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes, remained in stoic silence as he left jail Wednesday afternoon after posting $100,000 bail.
Mahomes was arrested Wednesday morning for aggravated sexual battery in connection with a February incident.
The 22-year-old – known for his bizarre behavior in NFL stadiums – was previously accused of forcibly kissing a 40-year-old owner of a bar just outside Kansas City.
He was released in the afternoon after he paid his bail and made his first court appearance, according to KMBC newsbut refused to acknowledge the media when he left prison.

However, Mahomes, who is known for being quite loud when attending his brother’s games, remained silent.
He was asked, “What would you like to say to the victims of these crimes of which you have been accused?” To which Mahomes had no answer.
The alleged incident has been under police investigation since March and Mahomes was jailed at 7:42 am on Wednesday.
Mahomes was initially scheduled to appear in court on Friday, but the appearance was brought forward to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, where he pleaded and paid his bail, the report added.
How Mahomes pleaded is not currently publicly available.
Court documents show attorney Brandon Joseph Davies as the social media influencer, who is reportedly due to appear in court on May 11.
According to a Kansas City star report, the alleged incident occurred Feb. 25 at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, KS.
Owner Aspen Vaughn accused Mahomes of trying to kiss her twice and grabbing her neck, with video also emerging from the incident.

“He violently kissed me out of the blue,” she told The Star. And I tell him, push him away by saying “what are you doing?”
“Then he did it two more times where the last time I pushed him off me and I can see on the cameras that someone was standing outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
“It’s disgusting,” Vaughn told Mahomes at the time. Like you’re a kid and he was trying to say “we’re supposed to be a power couple,” and I’m like “you’re obviously crazy right now.”
Brandan Davies, a lawyer for Mahomes, denied the allegations at the time.
“Jackson has done nothing wrong,” the attorney told the outlet. “Our investigation has produced substantial evidence that refutes Jackson’s accuser’s allegations, including the statements of several witnesses.
“We have contacted the police to provide the results of our investigation so that they can get a full picture of the case.”
The younger Mahomes has been in the spotlight for viral behavior on TikTok, but has also sparked controversy with his antics on the sidelines at his brother’s games.
In 2021, he poured water on a Baltimore Ravens fan following a Chiefs loss in an incident caught on video. He then tweeted, “They were thirsty.”
A month later, just after the Chiefs played the Washington Commanders, Jackson shared a video of him dancing to a tribute to the late Washington player Sean Taylor, who died in 2007.
Called out on social media, he apologized for the incident on Twitter, writing, “I want to offer my sincerest apologies for accidentally sitting on the Sean Taylor #21 at FedEx Field. We were instructed to stand in that area and I meant absolutely no disrespect to him or his family.”
In addition, he was accused of pushing a 19-year-old male waiter several times.
The teenage waiter, who chose to remain unnamed, said Mahomes would not allow access to the staff office.

“I went to our office downstairs where the employees are in the employee area, and he is downstairs, I don’t know the reason,” the waiter said.
“I’m trying to get to the office, and he pushes me out. … And he said, ‘No, go away, go away.”
Mahomes quietly returned to social media last week, nearly two months after being charged with assault and assault.
Mahomes, who has a large following on TikTok and Instagram, was unusually quiet on social media platforms in the weeks following the allegations, but started posting again last week.
Last Wednesday, he posted on his Instagram story appearing to mingle with NFL fans who came to Kansas City for the NFL Draft.
He also made his first TikTok in about two months while lip-synching the lyrics, “I’ve lost friends and found peace.”
He also posted a photo of him beaming next to his brother Patrick on his profile on Saturday.
