Jackson Mahomes prosecutors ‘move to drop aggravated sexual battery charges’ against him as the alleged victim ‘is no longer cooperating’ in the case against Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ brother
Prosecutors are reportedly moving to have felony charges against Jackson Mahomes dropped, claiming the alleged victim is no longer cooperating.
Jackson, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was accused of forcibly kissing a restaurant owner at her Overland Park establishment in February 2023.
But she has now told prosecutors she no longer wants to press charges TMZ.
Officials from the Johnson County District Attorney's Office in Kansas filed a motion Tuesday to dismiss the three counts of aggravated sexual battery against Jackson, with a judge expected to rule Wednesday afternoon.
The court document states that the alleged victim wants “the case dismissed with respect to everything concerning her.”

It claimed that she said she would say 'that she had not been honest with the police and that the encounter with [Jackson] was with approval.'
Despite her reluctance, prosecutors said they still wanted to move forward with the case as the alleged incident was captured in its entirety on surveillance footage, but the alleged victim has made it clear she no longer wants to be involved.
“As I said from the beginning,” Jackson's attorney, Brandon Davies, told FOX 4 in a statement on Tuesday.
“Jackson did nothing wrong. We were confident that the truth about the case would eventually come to light. The defense will reserve further comment until the remaining charges are resolved.”
If the three misdemeanor charges are dismissed, Jackson would face only one battery charge, stemming from an accusation that he shoved a waiter at the restaurant that same night.
Last year he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
