Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s multi-million dollar Sydney ‘dream home’ project takes off as the former home is COMPLETELY demolished

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s ‘dream home’ project has moved one step closer to reality.

The 49-year-old radio queen has taken on the ambitious project which will see a complete transformation of an oceanfront home she bought at open auction in March 2023.

And almost two years after the KIIS FM star dropped $13.25 million on the stock exchange, the first signs of the transformation became apparent on Saturday.

It seems the residents of Clovelly within earshot of Jackie’s eventual new home were in for quite a cacophonous weekend.

The sprawling six-bedroom, three-storey house that once stood on the site was completely demolished, leaving nothing but piles of stones and rubble to be hauled away by excavators.

Photos of the now houseless site showed a sloping facade leading to several staggered levels and the entire area now cordoned off with a temporary fence.

The scene was a far cry from the 1960s house that once stood on the site.

An aerial view of the location revealed just how close Jackie will be to the beautiful coastline.

The photo showed the crystals of clear water just feet away from what will eventually be Jackie’s front door.

The property is situated on a clifftop overlooking the ocean in the sought-after beachside suburb of Clovelly, 9km from the CBD.

Jackie also shared videos of heavy construction equipment knocking down parts of the sprawling mansion on Instagram on Saturday.

One clip showed a large crane demolishing the walls of the original three-story home, which Jackie bought for $13.25 million in March 2023.

Another clip included a time-lapse of the decades-old six-bedroom house being torn apart stage by stage as the site was cleared for construction.

“And so it begins,” Jackie captioned the post as she shared her excitement about the upcoming construction.

Earlier this year, Jackie teased fans with a sneak peek at her incredible design plans for her “dream home,” which she says cost the star $5.05 million. Now to love.

Taking to her Instagram in February, the KIIS FM star showed off her plans to create a chic living space with stunning multi-million dollar views of the sea.

Another depicted a beautiful built-in outdoor swimming pool, built right on the seafront and surrounded by sculpted gardens and palm trees.

Jackie shared the snapshots of what she wanted her dream home to be and tagged prestigious architects Madeleine Blanchfield, who is behind the impressive structure.

The photos, from previous Madeleine Blanchfield projects, provided Jackie with plenty of inspiration.

A spokesperson for Jackie said the photos were fake[ups] of options of what her new home will look like’.

Jackie bought the property in March 2023 for a whopping $13.25 million at an open auction.

The house is located a little further away from the road and offers Jackie the privacy that she did not have in the narrow streets of her former address.

The high-profile media star had previously complained about pushy paparazzi as the reason for her sale of her previous home.

Jackie bought her new home after making a tidy $2 million profit on the sale of her old home in Woollahra, having paid $11 million for it in 2020.

Jackie has returned to Australia in recent days after enjoying a sun-soaked pre-Christmas getaway to Thailand.

She headed to the picturesque destination with her daughter Kitty, 14, who she shares with her ex-husband, photographer Lee Henderson.

Jackie hasn’t shied away from sharing a series of photos from the idyllic getaway on her Instagram page in recent days.

In one photo, Jackie was seen enjoying a dip in the balmy waters of the Phi Phi Islands as she enjoyed the relaxing trip.

The radio queen showed off her incredible figure as she posed in a backless swimsuit in the black and white photo.

In another shot, Jackie once again showed off her enviable physique as she posed in a vibrant yellow swimsuit as she enjoyed a day at the beach.

The mother-daughter trip abroad took place just days after Kitty celebrated her 14th birthday in Sydney earlier this month.
