Jackie ‘O’ Henderson talks about her incredible weight loss journey on Sunrise, after leaving her radio show KIIS FM due to health concerns.

Radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has opened up about her weight loss and recent health issues, which have kept her off the air since November.

The 47-year-old mother-of-one said that although she had to leave work late last year to recover from Covid, she now feels better than ever, thanks in part to WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers.

‘As soon as I started the program my weight started to drop. It pretty much works for anyone,” she told Sunrise host Monique Wright.

“I don’t want anyone to be obsessed with weight or junk food. It’s not about calories; it’s just about being healthy.’

The KIIS FM personality added that a well-deserved trip to Fiji with her 12-year-old daughter Kitty in late 2022 helped her feel physically and mentally refreshed.

Jackie said she’s picked up some healthy lifestyle habits in the past two months that will come in handy when she returns to the airwaves on Monday.

The 47-year-old mother-of-one said that although she had to leave work late last year to recover from Covid, she now feels better than ever, thanks in part to Weight Watchers.

“Cold showers, meditation, exercise and healthy eating will be of great benefit to me,” he said.

In November, he announced that he would be leaving KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show for health reasons.

Jackie, who had been coughing and sounding bad on the air for weeks, explained that she had suffered from poor health since contracting Covid-19 a few months ago and needed adequate rest to recover.

‘As soon as I left in the [WW] program, my weight began to drop. It pretty much works for anyone,” she told Sunrise host Monique Wright.

“I haven’t been very well since I had Covid… I’ve been struggling with this fatigue,” he told listeners.

“I went to the doctor several times and he told me that because I was pushing myself every day, after the program all I’ve been doing is sleeping and I’m not getting better.”

“I just have to take some time off,” he added. I’m going to finish the program today. Like now.

Podcast host Brittany Hockley, who hosts the Life Uncut radio show for KIIS FM on weekends, filled in as co-host while Jackie recovered.
