Jackie ‘O’ Henderson reveals she lost a whopping 18kg in five months

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed that she has lost a whopping 18kg in just five months.

The WW ambassador, 48, took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared a snap of herself looking slimmer than ever in a baggy white T-shirt and matching shorts as she relaxed on a balcony with her two dogs.

In her caption, Jackie candidly reflected on her weight loss journey.

“I came back to WW last year because I wanted to get my health back on track and I know their program works for me.”

“Losing weight was never about how I looked in the mirror, but rather about an overall sense of well-being and trying to get my energy levels back,” she continued.

Wearing a white t-shirt and white shorts that showed off her toned legs, she captioned the photo:

“5 months ago I was 40 pounds heavier and had zero energy. My health suffered, so I decided to make a complete lifestyle change.’

Jackie said she lost weight because she incorporated daily exercise into her routine and ate a healthier diet.

She also quit alcohol, which the presenter said many of her followers may not believe.

Jackie added: ‘I’ve never felt better than I do now. I can honestly say I feel happier and healthier than I was in my 20s and I have more energy for myself and as a mom (and dog mom!)’

The radio host’s friends and fans jumped to the comments to congratulate her on the achievement.

One person said, “That’s fucking unreal, hard to do and also to hold on to, you should be extremely proud of yourself for putting in the effort, well done.”

While another wrote: ‘AMAZING effort!! You look great as long as you find what works for you.’

Jackie also avoids carbs and satisfies her hunger throughout the day by snacking on pre-cut pieces of steak.

“I cook steak and slice it, and then I just have a little piece of steak when I’m hungry,” she told her co-host Kyle Sandilands.

Jackie resists splurging on high-calorie foods for lunch, opting to eat just “three small pieces of steak” and a few Vietnamese rice paper rolls with fish and cabbage.

Kyle was shocked by her small portion size and told her, “A dog would eat more!”

For dinner, Jackie usually eats vegetables and a protein such as chicken or red meat.

The mother of one has not always followed such a restrictive diet.

She told in February women’s Day before she got her health under control, she ate pizza, sausage rolls, and microwave meals from the gas station.

“I ate a lot of food that I could have quickly. You know, pizza and sandwiches and just takeout, I wasn’t cooking myself,” she said.

“And I think it’s always best if you know what you’re putting into your body. I just got really lazy.’
