Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed that no amount of money in the world would have enticed her to star in The Bachelorette.
The radio queen confirmed that Channel 10 producers begged her manager to convince a child’s mother to appear on the dating series, but she flatly turned it down because she didn’t want to be around a “bunch of gronks.”
“It came through my manager and I said ‘absolutely not’. No way I would ever do such a thing. It’s great for your entertainment, but what about me,” she said.
When her co-host Kyle Sandilands pressed her for her proposed salary, Jackie said ten executives were willing to pay her anything to get her to work.
“They asked how much it would cost.” Nothing, I wouldn’t. I just wouldn’t. Not the Bachelorette. They just end up making TV and you just get gronks, goofs… I just don’t think it’s for me,” she explained.

It comes after women’s Day magazine reported Monday that the perpetually single 48-year-old had signed on to the franchise in hopes of finding Mr Right.
The publication claimed that Jackie even enlisted her best friend Sophie Monk, who previously starred in Bachelorette, to help her prepare for the show.
However, Jackie was quick to deny the rumors on Tuesday’s Kyle And Jackie O Show, after her co-host Kyle Sandilands cheekily remarked, “Congratulations on your new TV appearance.”
“That’s all false Kyle. That’s bulls**t. No, I don’t,” mocked the mother of one.
“That’s great, because I wouldn’t have been happy about that,” Kyle replied, before describing why The Bachelorette was below Jackie.
“I put you on a pedestal. You are a wonderful woman who has achieved great things in your life, [you] raised a wonderful daughter… And you are an award-winning, wonderful friend.”
He further noted that Jackie ‘finally has a decent body’ and is ‘rootable again’, following her recent 18kg weight loss.

Jackie has been single since the breakup of her marriage to British photographer Lee Henderson in 2018.
The couple, who were married for 15 years, are co-parents with their daughter Kitty, 11.
Lee has since found love with jujitsu instructor Gabriella Motta.

Jackie swallowed back his tears earlier Jess Rowe’s big talk show while admitting that what she missed most about her “old life” was going out to dinner with someone every night.
‘I would prefer to sit at the table with someone to eat. That’s what I long for and that’s what I miss most about my old life,” she told journalist Jessica Rowe.
She continued, “It’s funny what we’re missing. It can be the smallest things, you know, and for me it’s having family time at the dinner table; that used to be my favorite part of the day.
Sandilands said he was relieved Jackie didn’t humiliate herself by joining The Bachelorette. “I put you on a pedestal,” he said. Pictured is The Bachelorette host Osher Gunsberg
“So I don’t have that right now and I think I’ll get that back, but like I said, I want to wait a little longer, you know. And then maybe I’ll fall in love later. That would be nice.’
Jackie is fighting fit after losing 40 pounds and could be ready to return to the dating scene.
She told Stellar magazine that the past few years have been challenging, but she now feels “fitter, healthier and mentally stronger.”

“I can’t believe how good I feel this year. I’ve had some kind of crazy breakthrough in my life. But I feel like I hit rock bottom to get to this point,” she said.
Jackie explained that her divorce was one of the low points of her life.
“Everything about who I usually am was taken away from me. Now it’s back,’ she said.
“You ask anyone going through that and especially when you have kids, it gets even harder,” she explained.
“The guilt you feel and everything associated with it is very hard to get through.”
