Jackie ‘O’ Henderson makes amends to woman whose life she ‘ruined’ with a very lavish gift

She recently went viral after telling Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that the radio star had ruined her life 24 years earlier.

And on Monday, former singer Angie Chase, 53, received a special visit from radio star and co-host Kyle Sandilands.

Angie laughed and cried with gratitude when the KIIS FM presenters surprised her with gifts including a Louis Vuitton bag and a ‘golden ticket’ to the Australian Idol auditions.

Angie left Jackie, 49, red-faced last week after telling listeners how she auditioned for singing competition Seven’s Popstars in 2000 as a 29-year-old, while Jackie was a judge on the show.

Angie eventually lost the auditions for the show to 19-year-old Sophie Monk, but Sophie later found fame as a member of Bardot.

After following Sophie’s successful career from the sidelines, Angie decided to confront Jackie live on the radio during the ‘Remember Me’ segment on KIIS FM last week.

‘[Monk] became The Bachelorette. I became an old maid living in Woy Woy with a cat and a fake Louis Vuitton bag! That should have been real! That’s from the Bali Louis Vuitton store.’

Kyle and Jackie later shared a video of them surprising Angie after her radio performance.

Angie Chase, 53, (L), once an aspiring singer, was paid a special visit by Jackie O Henderson and co-host Kyle Sandilands on Monday. Angie had recently appeared on the ‘Remember Me’ segment of the Kyle and Jackie O Show to talk about how Jackie had ‘ruined’ her life

“Meeting Kylie and Jackie O… I didn’t realize at the time that it was going to be one of the best experiences of my life,” Angie said in the clip.

After giving Angie a real Louis Vuitton handbag, Jackie told her it was “the least we could do.”

Kyle tried to outdo his co-host when he gave Angie a ‘golden ticket’ to the Australian Idol auditions. An elated Angie hugged both radio stars.

“You get a second chance,” Kyle shouted before hugging Angie, who joked that she was “too old” to audition for the singing competition.

“You’re never too old,” Jackie said.

When Angie was a guest on the Kyle and Jackie O Show last week, radio presenter Angie wondered if she was jealous of Sophie’s career.

“Do you often look at Sophie and think, ‘That should have been me! If only that b***h Jackie had just picked me!'” the radio queen asked.

“I can’t look at a rose without having a nervous breakdown,” Angie joked.

“I could have been on The Bachelorette, Jackie! I could have been engaged to a rock star, living in Hollywood.

“I live in Woy Woy instead!” she added.

After Jackie asked what Angie does for a living now, the former Popstars contestant said: “I’m a hairdresser. Thanks Jackie. I had to go back to TAFE.”
