Jackie ‘O’ Henderson gets emotional as she reveals that last year was the most harrowing time in her life and shares shock images of herself looking frail and crying on the floor

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson opened up about her difficult time in her life last year.

Speaking The Kyle & Jackie O Show On Friday morning, the 49-year-old got candid as she described a moment from last year’s winter when she was going through a difficult time.

The blonde radio host chatted with Cooper Johns and newsreader Brooklyn Ross after having a revelation moment on Thursday when she finally saw a whale breach while admiring the view from her home in the eastern suburbs.

“I now know that my life is on the right track and I know that things are good in my life,” she began.

‘This past winter – because you can see the beach from my house – every time someone came to my house, whether it was a personal trainer, a friend or family, they would always sit in the lounge, and they would say, “Oh , my God, a whale!”

“They’d see a whale jump out. And every time we looked and I was looking the wrong way. They go there and I would miss it, it was just a running joke… Everyone but me would see these whales jumping out of the ocean.”

Jackie continued with a brief description of the harrowing time in her life, as shock images were shown of the blonde looking weak and upset.

“Last year I experienced things that weren’t great,” she continued.

‘Life wasn’t exactly great. But I just knew in my mind that the day I finally see that whale jump out of the ocean is the day I know it’s a sign from the universe to say, ‘You’re good now.’

The media personality then announced that she had finally seen the whale, which symbolized for her that her life was back on track.

‘The strange thing is that in the last two weeks I finally felt like, “Oh my God, that’s it. I’ve done all the work on myself. I’m here. I feel really good.” And I saw the whale yesterday. I saw it jump out of the ocean. It was one of those moments,” she revealed.

It comes the day after Jackie opened up to co-host Kyle Sandilands about her 25-year health condition.

On their Thursday radio show, Kyle asked his co-host about her long history of struggling with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which causes abdominal pain, bloating and inconsistent bowel movements.

Jackie surprised her co-host when she told him she was no longer experiencing the painful symptoms.

‘Nothing [gives me IBS] Not anymore,” she reported.

Kyle, 52, thought the news called for a celebration and led the studio in applause.

Jackie says she has remained single since her split from ex-husband Lee Henderson, but she hasn’t been lonely lately as she and her ‘toy boy tradie’ Jack Tyerman appear to be doing well.

The pair were spotted on another date in Sydney this weekend, when they went to dinner at popular French dining destination Restaurant Hubert.

The genetically blessed couple walked to the diner with the chivalrous Jack and opened the door for the radio star.

Jackie was discussing the couple’s relationship on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show when her co-host Kyle Sandilands quizzed her about another recent date.

‘We went to the restaurant together and I didn’t feel like driving so I told him to drive [my car]she explained, adding that Jack lives nearby.

“He’s cute, but no, there’s nothing wrong… We dated his sister and her husband. We were just catching up.”

She also spoke about the relationship in August last year.

Although Jackie admitted she was “dating” at the time, she said she and Jack were “just friends.”

‘No, Jack is not my boyfriend. We are not in a relationship. He’s not my boy toy,” Jackie told her radio host Kyle.

‘Jack is a good friend of mine. I know him through a friend of ours. We didn’t meet on a dating app or anything like that.’

The media personality went on to say she was ultimately “responsible” for the romance rumors after telling Daily Mail Australia she was dating someone during a Logies interview.

“In my mind I’m dating and I’ve been on a few dates so I said ‘maybe’ [I’m dating]’, but I probably should have said, ‘Maybe we’ll see what happens,'” she admitted.

Not long after, we saw Jackie and Jack enjoying what appeared to be a romantic, moonlit date on the balcony of her Clovelly mansion.
