Jackie ‘O’ Henderson ends her partnership with Weight Watchers after losing 18kg through the program
Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has denied that gastric banding and the use of the controversial diabetes drug Ozempic are the cause of her dramatic 18 kg weight loss.
On Monday’s Kyle and Jackie O Show, an irate Jackie, 48, revealed she has fallen victim to trolls who claim the radio star had surgery instead of losing weight through diet and exercise.
“When I first lost weight and started losing weight at the beginning of this year, everything was fine. And when I lost a little more, people were suspicious that it would blow up really quickly,” she began.
“And since then I would say, for the past 3 to 4 months, I’ve had people so steadfast in their belief that I didn’t get rid of this the right way and I did something different.”
Jackie insisted that while it doesn’t matter how a person loses weight, she did it in a healthy way.
“I can’t say it enough that I’ve done nothing but just eat right, exercise and quit alcohol,” she said.
She explained that the biggest change was in her mindset, as she had previously struggled to shed unwanted pounds for the past three years because she was “not in the right headspace.”
“I just wasn’t motivated and I wasn’t feeling well mentally and so I just wasn’t there. I couldn’t find that motivation in myself, she explained.

‘I wanted [lose weight] so much and I tried so hard but then I’d fall off the wagon and then I’d eat McDonald’s and I think we’ve all been there with diet and exercise.”
Jackie also responded to a conspiracy theory circulating among critics – that she secretly underwent gastric band surgery to lose weight.
‘WWhen I took some time off from work last year, people thought that because I took time off and it coincided with the weight loss, I had gastric band surgery,” she said.
One child’s mother pointed out that she could not have had gastric band surgery because she was not tall enough to qualify for the procedure.
Jackie also denied speculation that she has been taking Hollywood’s weight loss drug of choice, Ozempc, which was originally developed for people with diabetes.
“I don’t want to get involved in the Ozempic debate, which is that people who have real problems with diabetes need this drug, versus those who go out and abuse it for other reasons,” she said.

Elsewhere, Jackie spoke about the news that she has quit WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers) as she has now reached her goal and wants to move away from the weight loss rhetoric.
“You can still stay with WW and do the maintenance angle. But I just think I’m done with this whole weight loss thing,” she said.
Jackie said her method of dealing with the criticism was simply not to deal with trolls.

‘I don’t want to delete [negative] comments. I just let them go. Let them vent and whatever they think they’re thinking,” she said.
It comes after Jackie credited her partnership with WW (formerly Weight Watchers) for her stunning 18kg weight loss in an Instagram post on Sunday night.
She revealed that she has ended her partnership with the company in the post.
“I’m coming to the end of partnership this month,” the mother-of-one wrote in a caption, alongside a photo of her radically slimmed-down figure.
Jackie’s post was riddled with allegations that she had taken the infamous diabetes drug Ozempic instead of losing weight naturally.
‘Ozempic endorsement? Lol,” one commenter wrote, while another weighed in with “We’ve been following you for years and know you’re not into sports or healthy eating.”
They continued, “Why aren’t people being honest, they just did Ozempic.. funny how everyone who takes Ozempic ‘suddenly’ stops drinking alcohol.”
“These are not weight watchers. And probably why the collaboration ended.’
Jackie recently revealed that she lost a whopping 18kg in just five months, but was forced to quash rumors that it was due to taking a celebrity weight-loss drug.

Many speculated she was on Ozempic, but last month Jackie revealed she lost weight the old-fashioned way: by following a low-calorie diet, exercising regularly, and avoiding alcohol.
“The diabetes meds people talk about, I don’t take them,” Jackie replied.
“Honestly, you guys can do it… but I’ll say it, I think [cutting out] alcohol and exercise was a big thing. I never did [that] before, so that was kind of the kicker for me.”
Jackie, who recently started playing tennis regularly, added that quitting alcohol and embracing exercise was ‘great’ [she’d] never done before’.
The mother of one of them also confirmed that she didn’t even drink alcohol at Kyle’s wedding in April.
Jackie also recently spoke about her new diet on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, revealing that she often skips breakfast, a practice known as intermittent fasting.
She also avoids carbs and satisfies her hunger throughout the day by snacking on pre-cut pieces of steak.
She recently shared several other photos from the recent vacation, including a rare swimsuit in the South of France
