Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has broken her silence after a shocking heart attack scare that saw her rushed to the emergency room during Tuesday’s KIIS FM breakfast show.
The radio shock jock, 48, was treated emergency for an ‘infection’ and has since been released from Sydney’s Royal North Shore.
And on Wednesday morning, she jumped straight back into the Kyle and Jackie O Show studio to reassure listeners that she was doing well.
‘I just did some tests. I was there all day. They have to rule everything out,” she said when co-host Kyle Sandilands asked what happened at the hospital.
‘You have to have an ECG done, a blood test, and they also check the lungs. Those are the two things that caused the chest pain I had.”
The media personality went on to say that she also ‘got a CAT scan’ before praising the ‘incredible’ staff who cared for her at the hospital.
KIIS FM gave listeners an update on Jackie’s health condition on Tuesday evening, just hours after the radio star was rushed to the emergency room.

Late in the afternoon, the official KIIS and Kyle and Jackie O Instagram accounts assured listeners that Jackie was okay with a heartfelt statement.
“To our loyal listeners: Thank you for your kind messages and concerns. Jackie is doing well,” the statement said tenderly.

Jackie had undergone a procedure just a day earlier to remove a uterine polyp, a growth attached to her uterus.
Kyle and Jackie were preparing to interview Angela Bishop when she started experiencing symptoms.

Kyle explained that Jackie had “all this pain in her arm and chest before she was sent home.”
Kyle then said that Jackie left the show to visit the hospital.

He told her to check her pulse and said it could be a lack of sleep, but if she continued to feel unwell she should seek medical attention.
“Jackie starts feeling pain in her left arm the day after surgery,” Kyle said.
Jackie added, “And chest pain. But I don’t feel short of breath. I used to feel nauseous. The pain is dull along the arm.’
