Jackie ‘O’ Henderson admits she feels more guilt about smoking cigarettes than vaping: ‘I go around the corner and hide to do it!’

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has admitted she feels more guilty about smoking cigarettes than vaping.

The radio host, 49, candidly discussed her smoking habit with her co-host Kylie Sandilands on their self-titled KIIS FM radio show on Wednesday.

She confessed that she tries to avoid smoking cigarettes in public because she feels people are more judgmental about it than about vaping.

Jackie said she feels like a “dirty outcast” because she still smokes cigarettes, as she discussed her guilt over the habit.

‘I try not to smoke in public, but I do. I try to go around corners and hide in alleys. I feel like you’re being judged these days,” she shared.

“It’s all well and good to vape, that’s all fine, but smoking, oh no, we’re definitely the dirty outcasts.”

However, radio shock jock Kyle (52) urged her: ‘Don’t worry about people, just do it yourself!’

Jackie has had a busy few days at Australian Fashion Week and had to leave her radio show early on Tuesday to attend her friend Pip Edward’s catwalk show.

She was forced to quit work early when she left for Pip’s PE Nation show with her daughter Kitty, 13, who she shares with her ex Lee Henderson.

The mother-daughter duo attended the first day of AFW at Sydney’s Carriageworks on Monday for Carla Zampatti’s opening show.

When Jackie left the radio studio early Tuesday for the second event, Kyle called her out for picking Kitty up from school to attend the fashion show.

He pointed out that they often promote a government program urging parents not to pick up their children from school, while commenting on Kitty’s absence.

He said, ‘Why isn’t she at school? Don’t we read advertisements telling you not to pick up your children from school? There’s an advertisement here that says your children should stay in school, we both read it!’

Kitty then appeared briefly on the radio to say hello to listeners, while Jackie insisted that attending AFW was a great experience for Kitty, who wants to work in fashion.

“Listen, it’s a great experience for her because she loves fashion and wants to delve into that field, right?” Jackie shared.

Jackie and Kitty were later spotted at Pip Edwards’ PE Nation runway show, the first at AFW since the departure of co-founder Claire Greaves.

They secured front row seats at the glitzy event as they sat next to Julie Bishop as they cheered Pip on during the show.
