Jack Whitehall has revealed that his girlfriend, Roxy Horner, collapsed at the Brit Awards last year while he was hosting the ceremony.

The 31-year-old model and actress revealed that she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2021.

But before being diagnosed, Roxy had a health problem and had to be resuscitated by paramedics.

He previously admitted to having a “tough time” with the condition as he struggled to control his glucose levels.

Opening up to her 199k Instagram followers, she explained: “I’ve had a really hard time getting my glucose levels under control the last few weeks, they’re yo-yoing for no reason.”

“I vomit when I get too high and lately I’ve had too many hypoglycemia for my liking.

In March, Roxy praised Jack for being her ‘rock’ in the midst of her Type 1 diagnosis.

‘Jack has been my absolute rock, he’s so charming. He was there when I was diagnosed. My parents and family live in Australia, so he has been my family. We are amazing,’ he told The Sun.

She explained to the publication how her symptoms worsened during the pandemic, prompting her to seek medical attention.

‘I felt extremely tired and exhausted for a long time, I had no energy. I couldn’t even go for a walk, I was exhausted, I felt like I was dying. I drank four to eight liters of water a day, ”she recalled.

Despite “knowing something was seriously wrong” with her body and visiting doctors numerous times, Roxy was not tested for diabetes due to not meeting the criteria.

In desperation, the model turned to A&E, where she was finally diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, which causes a person’s blood sugar level to be too high.

The smitten couple have been dating for over two years and reside in Jack’s five-bed Notting Hill home with £17.5m and their dog Coco.

It comes after Jack revealed that his romance with Roxy got off to an awkward start due to their choice of venue on their first date.

He told the Mail On Sunday he didn’t know Roxy was a vegan and took her on a first date to a Chinese restaurant decorated with dead ducks.

The comedian explained that they then moved on to a bar, which had a taxidermy theme.

“It was like something out of a sitcom,” Jack quipped.
