Jack Vidgen has set the record straight on whether he’s trans, admitting that he identifies as male but enjoys dressing in gender fluid clothing.

The 26-year-old reality star posted a statement on Instagram on Wednesday about his gender identity, after coming under fire for dressing as a woman at red carpet events.

“Lately I’ve been getting glamorous and exploring my feminine side,” she wrote.

‘For all those wondering, I still identify as he/she. I am literally having fun,” she added, clarifying that he is a cisgender man.

“Society has gender fashion and the more I dress like this, the more I expose myself to my own internalized homophobia as a gay man.”

Jack then revealed that he had received an enormous amount of hurtful messages about his dress, but said that he would not let the haters bother him.

The singer-songwriter recently began sporting designer dresses and feminine accessories like handbags to red carpet events.

Her changing fashion sense comes after she opened up following the body dysmorphia she experienced in the weeks leading up to the start of Sydney WorldPride.

He made the confession on Instagram after being complimented on his appearance.

“I wanted to thank everyone who said they loved some of the looks I’ve been doing for Pride so far,” Jack wrote.

“My body dysmorphia took over about a month ago and I made the decision to let go of the pressures to look a certain way this Mardi Gras and just look fabulous,” she continued.
