Jack Johnson fans are heartbroken when the Sydney concert is canceled due to extreme weather, with no refunds being offered.

Jack Johnson fans in Sydney are furious after being told they will not receive a refund after their concert on Monday was canceled mid-run due to extreme weather.

The soft rock singer, 47, was fifty minutes into his set when a freak thunderstorm struck and, after consulting with authorities, Johnson was told to cut things short.

“It is very difficult for me to say this, but the police are closing us down,” he told his thousands of fans on the forecourt of the Opera.

Meanwhile, the event organizers decided that his time on stage was counted as a full performance so that fans would not receive a refund.

However, disappointed ticket holders are eligible to attend a one-hour soundcheck on Wednesday night as compensation.

The Upside Down hitmaker shared footage of the storm that disrupted his concert on Instagram and apologized for the interruption.

The soft rock singer had been on his set fifty minutes when a freak thunderstorm struck, and after consulting with authorities, Johnson was told to cut things short.

Fortunately, many of his 938,000 followers were sympathetic, saying that safety comes first.

Johnson recently revealed in 60 minutes that many of his greatest hits are inspired by his wife of 20 years, Kim.

Allowing journalist Peter Stefanovic to follow him around his Oahu hometown for a day, he said many of his best love songs were written after he forgot about an important anniversary.

“The love songs are all for my wife,” he said.

“It is very difficult for me to say this, but the police are closing us down,” he told his thousands of fans on the forecourt of the Opera.

“If I wake up and forget it’s our anniversary, I have to write a song fast.

“That’s my version of a card,” he continued, and Peter replied that he was embarrassing us all.

But while he’s silky smooth on guitar and ukulele, Jack said his skills didn’t initially help him win over his loving wife from college.

“I tried to impress her by saying I could play the guitar or something, but I don’t think that worked,” Jack said. I think it was my persistence.

Disappointed ticket holders are eligible to attend a one-hour sound check on Wednesday night as compensation.

Jack has spent his spare time sightseeing while in Sydney.
