In the video, which was for the Premier League’s Fan Mail, Jack was seen reading a letter from his young fan Finlay, who described him as his ‘idol’.
The Manchester City player read the letter aloud: ‘To Jack, my name is Finlay and I am 11 years old. I am a huge Man City fan and England fan. I have cerebral palsy and I saw that your sister also has cerebral palsy.
“I like the way you’re really good with her, you really get it. You always have her with you and you look very proud, especially when we won the competition.’

Speaking to the camera, Jack explained, “I’m so close to my little sister. Hollie is now 19, she was born three months premature. They said she couldn’t talk, she couldn’t walk and she could do a lot of things, but here we are and she can do anything.
“Of course I love her so much, yes I think I’m a good big brother to her,” he laughed.
Finlay ended his letter: “I wish there were more people in the world like you who treat people with disabilities the same as everyone else.”
Joking that the youngster should invite him to a match, the video then showed Finlay reading a letter that the footballer wrote back in reply, alongside a signed football shirt.
The pair then met – Finlay came running to give his idol a hug, while Jack was sad: ‘I want to thank you so much for the letter you wrote for me, it really touched me.’
