Jack Grealish has praised two Arsenal players ahead of Manchester City’s clash with the Gunners.

The two sides will face off in a crucial clash at the Etihad on Sunday, with huge stakes at stake.

Mikel Arteta’s men currently sit at the top of the table, ahead of Liverpool on goal difference and one point ahead of City ahead of the run-in.

Before the match, Grealish highlighted the additions of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz as he warned his teammates about Arsenal’s experience compared to last season.

“Obviously they’ve added Declan (Rice) and (Kai) Havertz, who are both playing really well at the moment,” Grealish told Manchester City’s official website.

‘They may have a bit more experience than last season. Both this season and last season they had a young squad and last season was their first real time in a title race, so this year they may have a bit more experience.

“I think it’s all about us at the moment and if we go out and win the game then that puts us in a great position.”

After a poor start to the season, Havertz appears to have settled in at Arsenal following his £65million move from Chelsea last summer.

The German has scored eight Premier League goals as a midfielder and striker this season, including four in his last four appearances.

Meanwhile, Rice was one of the Premier League’s signings of the season after joining Arsenal from West Ham for £105 million.

He was an ever-present in midfield for his new side, helping them on another Premier League title chase and reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Arsenal suffered a damaging 4-1 defeat at the Etihad in April last year in a match that was dubbed a title shootout at the time.

And Grealish, who returned to training this week after returning from a groin injury, insists this is a must-win game for City.

‘We have to win. We are behind them at the moment,” the England international added.
