Jack Fincham ‘pulls out of Love Island Games at the last minute’ after he is ‘arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and using false plates on his car’

Former Love Island winner Jack Fincham has pulled out of starring in spin-off show Love Island Games at the last minute, according to reports.

It comes as the reality star, 31, was reportedly arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and using fake license plates on his car on August 26.

Jack, who won the 2018 series of Love Island, is said to have been stopped by police as he drove at high speed on the A2 near his home in Swanley, Kent.

Now Jack is said to have decided to take a step back from entering the All Stars villa and appear on Celebrity Ex On The Beach.

“He decided Ex On The Beach was a better fit for him – he’d rather do that show, so he flew out yesterday,” a source said. The sun.

MailOnline has contacted Jack’s representatives for comment.

Jack was given a blood test and arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and driving without insurance, according to reports.

He was subsequently released under investigation until November 26.

Jack’s lawyer Conor Johnstone, of MAJ Law, told the publication: ‘Mr Fincham has not been charged with drink driving and denies any drug use.

‘There is no evidence at this time that Mr Fincham is over the legal limit and we hope his blood results will show the same.’

A source close to Jack added that the reality star denies using drugs and used private license plates instead of fake ones.

Jack is reportedly flying to Fiji to appear in Love Island Games, the spin-off series that sees contestants enter a villa on their quest for love.

In July, Jack revealed he had split from his girlfriend Jodie Ella.

Speaking as part of the Original Penguin X Campaign Against Living Miserably Below the surface podcast, he hinted at a return to a villa in the wake of Adam Collard and Kady McDermott’s explosive comebacks.

When asked about Kady, Jack, who was recently linked to Chloe Brockett and Frankie Sims before his romance with Jodie, said: ‘Oh yeah, of course I would go back to the show. Please. It’s like a perfect environment to meet someone…

‘You don’t have to worry about your phone, going to work or cooking. Not only am I trying to get out of work, but yeah, I would go back on the show in a heartbeat.”

“(I want) to spend time with them. My brother is 28 and he has been with his girlfriend for nine years and I think: wow, I would love that now.’

It comes as five more stars have been revealed as participants in new spin-off series Love Island Games.

Megan Barton Hanson, 29, and Curtis Pritchard, 27, have ‘already left to film the new series’ with host Maya Jama, 29, according to The sun.

The new programme, which has yet to announce its full cast, will feature former stars from the UK, US and Australian versions.

According to the publication, Danica Taylor, 22, who appeared on the British show last year, is the third star announced to join the spin-off show.

And she will be joined by American stars, Deb Chubb, Carrington Rodriguez, Cely Vazquez and Imani Ayan.

Deborah, who has been single for five years, shot to fame on the show last year and joins Carrington Rodriguez from the 2020 series of the US show.

Cely Vazquez was the runner-up on season two of Love Island USA and Imani shot to fame on season five of the show.

The current cast has come full circle and will soon be joined by a host of other Love Island stars from different versions of the hit dating show.

Last week, a source told the publication: ‘Megan and Curtis are both great additions to the spin-off and bosses are rubbing their hands that they agreed to take part.

‘They are two of the most memorable ever contestants on Love Island – who could forget Megan turning the head of every boy in the villa, or Curtis’ brutal break-up with Amy (Hart)?’

The new series will first air in the US on Peacock in November before making its way to UK screens.
