Do you know this Hollywood star? Famous actor shocks fans when he crashes Foo Fighters gig in New Zealand and appears onstage in bizarre outfit
New Zealand fans of the Foo Fighters were treated to a beautiful sight on Saturday night when a major Hollywood star stormed the stage to rock out with the band.
None other than movie star Jack Black stole the show in Auckland at Mt Smart Stadium when he took to the stage dressed in a bizarre tie-dye ensemble.
The Super Mario Bros star, 54, wasted no time in pulling up his shirt to show off his figure and shaking his hips to the beat of the US rock band’s biggest hits.
With a fiery phoenix on the front of his black shirt and flames adorning his shorts, the Emmy-winning actor looked unrecognizable from his School of Rock heyday.
With a big bushy gray beard and long dark locks, Jack was all smiles as he rocked out alongside the Foo Fighters again, as he once did with his band Tenacious D.

In clips shared to several TikTok accounts over the weekend, the musician was seen rolling around on stage before belting out a cover of the AC/DC hit Big Balls.
Jack’s fun night didn’t end there, as he took a break from filming the new Minecraft movie, he was later spotted at a Japanese restaurant called Ebisu.
While hanging out with Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl, 55, the pair posed for a photo with one of the staff members, which was posted to the restaurant’s Instagram.

It comes after Jack signed on for the 2025 movie Minecraft, which recently started filming in New Zealand, it was reported Variety earlier this month.
Jack joins Jason Momoa, who was cast in the Warner Bros. film almost a year ago, and Emma Myers and Danielle Brooks in supporting roles.

Jared Hess, of Napoleon Dynamite fame, will direct the film, which has been in development for nearly a decade.
He previously worked with Jack on the 2006 film Nacho Libre.
Few details have been released about the plot, but it is clear that the film is a live-action adaptation of the popular video game.
It is scheduled to premiere in theaters on April 4, 2025.
