Jack Black was almost unrecognizable as he walked through Hollywood with his gray, full beard.
The 54-year-old Emmy-winning actor, who appeared clean-shaven in many of his biggest films, including The Holiday (2006) and Goosebumps (2016), appeared relaxed as he chatted on the phone and enjoyed some time outside.
For his laid-back outing, the father of two, who is married to Tanya Haden, showed off his eccentric fashion sense in a red shirt with flames and a wolf on it, patterned shorts and a wide-brimmed hat.
He completed his striking outfit with a pair of green and white tie-dye socks, black sneakers, a backpack and sunglasses.
Over the years, Black has spent more time voicing characters for films like The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) and the Kung Fu Panda franchise than he has on screen.

He recently went viral when he sent a sweet message to Australian schoolchildren inviting him to come and see their performance School Of Rock.
In response to his invitation to see the live version of his hit 2003 film, the star shared a touching video message.
“Ringwood Second College, are you doing School Of Rock?! I love it! I love it, so moved, so moved by your video and the fact that you’re going to rock it,” he said. “Do you know it’s been 20 years since I made that film? It’s still my favourite film I’ve ever made and I love that you’re going to rock it.”
However, he also told them that he unfortunately could not attend the rehearsals due to his busy touring schedule for his band Tenacious D’s Australian tour.
Bursting into song, he added: “But I just wanted to remind you guys that you can’t stop the School Of Rock!”
The students of Ringwood Secondary College invited Jack to watch rehearsals for School Of Rock: The Musical in an Instagram video they shared in late May.
Lauren Rowe, the school’s production director, explained on Sammy J’s ABC program how they sent out the invite after a student found out Jack would be in Melbourne at the same time as their rehearsals.

In a video shared by the school, the students said, “We would like to officially invite you to come to one of our rehearsals while you are there so we can give you some unfinished homework as part of the rock assignment.”
The students “begged” Jack to be present, asking him to “grace” them with his presence, and then concluded their message by chanting his name.
The school was overwhelmed by Jack’s response and shared his video message on their Instagram page, which left their followers extremely excited.
Black and his band are currently on the Spicy Meatball Tour, which kicked off in May and is scheduled to end on July 26, 2024.
