Jacinda Ardern LOSES IT when she calls an opposition politician an ‘arrogant p****’ in impressive barrage

  • The New Zealand Prime Minister lost her cool when answering questions from David Seymour
  • He muttered an insult caught on microphones about the ACT Party leader
  • Ms Ardern apologized via SMS, noting that her mother would not have approved.

A Jacinda Ardern under pressure was caught losing her temper when she called a major party leader “an arrogant bastard” in parliament.

The New Zealand prime minister was heard whispering an insult about David Seymour, leader of the ACT Party, into a microphone as she sat down after answering his questions in parliament on Tuesday.

“We have always made decisions that we thought were in the best interest of New Zealand at the time,” Ms Ardern said, later adding: “What an arrogant jerk.”

Public support for Ms Ardern has plummeted in recent months and her approval rating is at its lowest level since she took office more than five years ago.

Ms Ardern lost her temper after Mr Seymour hit her with a series of questions in the New Zealand parliament, including a blatantly provocative question.

‘Can the Prime Minister give an example of her making a mistake, apologizing properly and making it right?’ asked Mr Seymour.

The question drew a clearly annoyed response from Ms. Ardern shortly before she muttered the insult.

Most of the household members glossed over the slur but picked it up on the recordings, forcing Ms Ardern to apologize.

The New Zealand prime minister was heard whispering “such an arrogant jerk” about David Seymour, leader of the ACT Party, into a microphone as she sat down after answering his questions on Tuesday.

He texted Mr. Seymour to apologize.

“I apologize, it’s not something I should have said,” the SMS is understood to have said.

She also added: “As my mother would say, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it.”

Seymour said he accepted the apology and wished Ardern a Merry Christmas.

He later used the slur as a springboard to hit Ms Ardern again in a media interview.

“Some days I’m a useless Maori, other days I’m an arrogant p****,” he said.

“The apology we’re really looking for is for New Zealanders concerned about rising prices and ram attacks.”

He also asked Spokesman Adrian Rurawhe to instruct Ms Ardern to withdraw her comment and apologize.

He refused, saying he would have to check Hansard’s official record of the proceedings.

Support for Ardern plummeted in a recent poll, showing that he posted his lowest approval rating since he took office in 2017.

Labor’s popularity fell to 33 percent, while Nationals rose to 38 percent.

Seymour has been the leader of the ACT Party since 2014.

The Party won 7.6 percent of the vote and 10 seats in the 2020 New Zealand election.
