New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and her awkward hot mic moment unknowingly gave a men’s charity a $100,100 donation.
Posting on her Facebook on Thursday, the Prime Minister revealed that the Prostate Cancer Foundation would receive the incredible donation after a signed copy of the official record of parliament was produced in which she calls Conservative MP David Seymour an “arrogant p**** “. auction.
“Can’t say I was expecting this…one misstep with the old microphone in parliament turned into $100,100 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation,” the post read.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern declared $100,100 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, following an announcement last week that a signed copy of her insulting MP David Seymour’s Hansard would be put up for auction.
Ms. Ardern and Mr. Seymour were able to put aside their personal and political differences and work together to raise money for the men’s charity.
Ardern was caught whispering the insult directed at Seymour, leader of the ACT Party, under her breath in parliament on December 13.
A microphone in the room picked up the prime minister saying ‘he’s such an arrogant bastard’ in reference to Mr Seymour as she retook her seat after answering a pointed question from the Conservative MP.
Seymour asked the speaker of the New Zealand parliament for an apology from Ms Ardern, which meant her comment was entered into the official record known as Hansard.
Ardern later texted an apology to Seymour, who came up with the idea to join forces to raise money for charity by auctioning off a printed transcript of the heated exchange.

Seymour said the unlikely couple, who sit on opposite sides of the political spectrum, were able to put their differences aside and see the funny side of the tense moment.
‘After laughing about it, Jacinda Ardern and I are going to auction a signed copy of the Hansard (official record) of her calling me an “arrogant p****” to raise money for jerks everywhere, a great cause, Prostate Cancer Foundation,” Seymour posted on Twitter on Dec. 15.
Ms. Ardern’s Facebook followers responded with joy to the announcement of the $100,100 donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
“A great result,” read one comment.
‘This has been a great story to end the year. So good to have a laugh.’
The Prostate Council Foundation NZ said in a statement on its website that it welcomed “the fundraising aspect of the transaction between ACT leader David Seymour and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern” but also urged men to be reminded from New Zealand “the best gift your health can receive in May”. just be a bit of a jerk.
A recent poll showed support for Ardern had plummeted as he posted his lowest approval rating since he took office in 2017.
Labor’s popularity fell to 33 percent, while Nationals rose to 38 percent.
