Morant suffered a bruise on his hand in Memphis’ Game 1 loss when he fell to the ground in the fourth quarter.
The Lakers would go on to win 128-112, nearly winning Game 2 for Memphis with their star guard sidelined.
With Morant out, his teammates dug in for a 103-93 victory behind a career-high 22 points by Xavier Tillman.
The guard was previously considered a gametime decision for Saturday’s game.
