Mom who’s had three caesarean sections is heartbroken after her husband says she’s in ‘the worst condition of her life’ – but admits he’s probably right
A mother of three who has had three caesarean sections has sparked anger online after revealing that her husband made fun of her weight gain and even “giggled” at her “belly”.
The unknown woman went to the British parenting site Mumsnet, to share her anxiety over the matter, adding that his comment “hurt so bad.”
She said she tried pretty hard and “worked out” that day, but despite her best efforts, when he saw her, he remarked, “You’re probably in the worst shape you’ve ever been in.”
The mother went on to say she couldn’t be “mad with him” because he was “absolutely right,” yet her heart was “broken.” Many labeled her husband a “d**k” and an “a**hole.”
She explained, “I started working out today and got into my workout gear.

So obviously more skin to see. He looked at my stomach and started giggling and I said, “What’s so funny?”
Perhaps, knowing that the verbal dig would hurt his wife, he would hesitate at first before confessing what was on his mind.
“I had to beg him to get the truth out,” she continued.
And he says, “you’re probably in the worst shape you’ve ever been in.” The point is that he’s absolutely right, so I can’t be mad at him, but it hurts so much.”
She shed more light on her situation, explaining that in addition to giving birth to three children and undergoing three C-sections, she also had a full-time office job.
In addition, she didn’t eat much, eating only one meal a day around dinner time.
She continued, “I’ve had three kids and three C-sections and I have a desk job where I barely move all day.
‘I’m not a big eater. I only eat my dinner and a chocolate bar and a cup of tea during the day. But I don’t get exercise.

“I feel like I can’t be mad at him, but my heart feels broken, as pathetic as it sounds.”
The post has garnered more than 200 comments, including one that called her husband a “d**k” for making the rude comment.
The person wrote, “I assume he is the pinnacle of physical perfection? Well done for getting started.’
One person comforted the mother, saying what she heard sounded “incredibly hurtful”: “Doesn’t sound pathetic to me. What a terrible thing to say to someone you are supposed to love.
“You have every right to be angry with him, he was incredibly hurtful to you.”
‘A**hole! Sending virtual support,” said another.

Another person asked if he had a ‘dad body’: ‘And tell me about his fit, unaged body?
“If he has a father’s body and hasn’t grown three children in him, don’t listen to him.
“Exercise and eat well, drink water because it makes you feel better, not because he made a mean comment.”
Later in an updated post, the woman said the couple had since made it up after a heartfelt apology.
She said, “He has apologized, he feels bad. He has a very active job, always on the go, so it’s easy for him to keep the weight down.
“It’s just unsettling to know that he sees me like this.”
Commenting on the update, one person wrote: “He can stuff his apologies in his perfectly muscled anus. He “giggled” at you in your workout gear? He doesn’t sound like a caring partner at all.”
