I’ve been to Disney World SEVEN time this year, here are the worst foods I ate

A Disney fanatic who visited the theme park seven times this year has discovered the 'worst' places to eat there.

Florida-based content creator Shay Spence posted a TikTok video documenting the foods he would skip at Disney World.

Shay recommended not trying the Chicago Dog from Casey's Corner or the buttermilk pancakes from Trattoria al Forno.

The foodie captioned his video: “The worst food I ate at Disney World in 2023. If you like this, don't get mad at me, I still love you.”

The worst food in Disney World

  1. Chicago dog from Casey's Corner
  2. Ravioli cacio e pepe from Il Mulino
  3. Buttermilk pancakes from Trattoria al Forno
  4. Spicy fried chicken sandwich from Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe
  5. Loaded mashed potatoes with glazed pork belly from Narcoossee's

Shay started his video by saying, “Okay, this was the worst food I ate at Disney World after going there seven times this year.”

He got to work on it right away and said he would skip the Chicago dog from Casey's Corner.

“There were too many toppings for this sandwich, but my main issue is that, and correct me if I'm wrong, but a Chicago dog shouldn't have Pico de Gallo on it.”

“It didn't have those little peppers in it, which are my favorite part of a Chicago dog.”

His next stop was at Il Mulino restaurant, where he ate the ravioli cacio e pepe and called out the “little cherry tomatoes on it,” which he thought were “wrong and unnecessary” for the dish.

Despite not being a fan of the ravioli, he recommended that his viewers try the gnocchi bolognese “or actually one of their other pastas.”

His third stop was at Trattoria al Forno restaurant, where he “didn't like their pancakes.”

He said it “looked so good” but the taste turned out to be “very dry and bland.”

Shay advised his viewers to go for brunch at Trattoria al Forno (L) for the 'amazing' eggs al forno. He wasn't a fan of Cosmic Ray's burger (R)

Shay ate the spicy fried chicken sandwich at Cosmic Ray's in the Magic Kingdom, which he said had “decent flavor,” but he confessed that the chicken patty was “definitely burnt and dry.”

Shay recommended going to Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs to eat “good fried chicken on a biscuit (right).” But he didn't like Narcoossee's mashed potatoes (right)

Shay visited Narcoossee's and recommended skipping the stuffed mashed potatoes with glazed pork belly, although it's “still a great place for seafood and cocktails”

Last but not least, Shay ended the Disney-filled day with a Mickey pretzel, telling his followers, “Y'all know how I feel about that.”

Shay then ate a spicy fried chicken sandwich at Cosmic Ray's in the Magic Kingdom, which he said had “decent flavor,” but he confessed that the chicken patty was “absolutely burnt and bone dry.”

He claimed he had to “literally choke it down.”

Shay then recommended going to Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs to eat “good fried chicken on a biscuit.”

Then he went to Narcoossee's and admitted that the place had “changed the loaded mashed potatoes on the menu” and now served “huge chunks of candied pork belly.”

“They're way too sweet for potatoes and it was a gloomy mess,” he added.

Regardless, he explained that it's “still a great place for seafood and cocktails.”

As an added bonus, he called it his “favorite restaurant to watch the fireworks.”

Last but not least, Shay ended the Disney-filled day with a Mickey pretzel and cheerfully told his followers, “Y'all know how I feel about that.”
